Fig Me Up by Mancera is an aromatic green fragrance from the olfactive family, designed for men and women. This scent, created by perfumer Pierre Montale, was launched in 2024. Its top notes of rhubarb, fig leaves, and French violet establish a fresh and vegetal character. The heart of the composition reveals a blend of plum, fig nectar, oud wood, bourbon geranium, and Australian sandalwood, adding depth and complexity. Finally, the base notes settle on a bed of tobacco, white musk, toffee, and tonka bean, closing the olfactive pyramid with a warm, woody sweetness.

It starts bold and green, with the fig leaf as the protagonist, balanced just right by rhubarb to add depth to the greenery. Half an hour in, ethyl maltol emerges, sweetening without falling into gourmand territory, yet retaining that burnt sugar nuance. I suppose it’s the plum; by the hour, a ripe, sweet fig is noticeable, while the leaf and rhubarb persist. The base note is sandalwood, adding creaminess and a woody touch. In my case, it lasts 7–8 hours, always within my bubble but noticeable. Projection is scarce but leaves a trail when moving. It’s unisex. If you like fig, Fig Me Up is worth it.
A bold, green opening with the fig leaf at full strength, perfectly balanced with rhubarb to add depth to the freshness. Half an hour in, ethyl maltol sweetens without veering into gourmand territory, thanks to that slightly burnt sugar touch. By the hour, plum enters, revealing a ripe, sweet fig while the leaf and rhubarb remain present. Sandalwood closes it with creaminess and a subtly woody base. On my skin, it lasts 7–8 hours – it’s personal, but noticeable. Projection is low but leaves a trail with movement. It’s unisex. If you like fig, Fig Me Up is worth it.
It’s a complicated fragrance: violet dominates the first two hours, making it very feminine. Then, oud and tobacco take over, turning it masculine. It has charm and lasts over eight hours with good projection, but it’s not unisex; it’s more of a ‘bisex’ scent, which makes it hard to wear. I don’t detect any fig, which was the note that attracted me; it should be called ‘Violet Me Up’, as that’s the note that lingers throughout the entire life of the perfume.
