I found it very sweet, with a note reminiscent of Erba Pura. As the sweetness fades, the musk and salt emerge. Despite this, it’s quite masculine, akin to a designer scent. The longevity and trail are extreme, and it’s super different from the French Riviera.

I bought it on a whim, but with wear, I’ve fallen even more in love. I own 13 Manceras and this one tops the list, beating out both the Aoud Lemon Mint and the French Riviera that I also have. It has more presence, is more masculine, and is more of a perfume. Always give it a try first.

If you love Orto Parisi’s Monstro but want to save some cash, here’s the trick: it smells identical but with a French Riviera twist. It’s more masculine than the FR yet less dense than the Monstro. If you’ve got the money, buy the original; if you’re after something less loud, this is your pick. For girls, go for the French Riviera instead. Scent 9.7/10, trail 7/10, longevity 6/10.
