  Freshly sprayed and two things: first, I absolutely loved it; second, you wouldn’t expect another Dior Sauvage-inspired scent, like an EDT but more potent, only to be forgotten. Here, there is no Sauvage and no overpowering strength. It smells more like the JPG Le Male, but less brash, cleaner and more elegant. I don’t understand why they called it Luna Rossa Carbon EDP when it recalls the Sport, Extreme or Black more. It even reminds me a little of Amouage Reflection Men when it dries down. It has a sweet licorice opening with a soapy touch, nothing shrill or party-oriented, and as it fades, lavender emerges. The feeling is one of cleanliness, neatness and elegance… I adore it. I wear it all year round as my signature scent; it’s perfect for the office without being intrusive. For me, this is the best Prada has released in years (has Daniela Andrier returned?). The only downside is that if you already own the Sport, Black or Extreme, this could feel redundant in your collection.

  I agree with the previous reviewer: this is nothing like the LR Carbon EDT or the Sauvage. At first, it smells like a modernised JPG Le Male; it also brought back memories of Luna Rossa Sport. This marks the return of Daniela Andrier to Prada, though I’m not sure if it’s just for this creation. Another Prada fragrance I’ve enjoyed, as I have with almost all of them.
