About Perla Cute Monster
Perla Cute Monster by Mirada: a Jolly, Sweet-Toothed Little Charmer
There is something rather endearing about a perfume that refuses to grow up. Perla Cute Monster, launched by Mirada in 2023, sits squarely in the fruity-floral family and wears its sweetness with a cheeky grin.
It begins with bitter orange and lime, a brisk citrus greeting that sharpens the palate ahead of a heart packed with peach, blueberries and a nostalgic hint of bubblegum.
The opening is brisk and bright. Bitter orange lends a faint bitterness that stops the composition from becoming cloying, whilst lime brings a lively sparkle. One imagines a well-chilled citrus granita.
At its heart, the fragrance reveals its playful streak: peach blossom, blueberry and sun-ripened peach swirl around a bubblegum accord that recalls childhood sweets without ever tipping into immaturity. It is confectionery, certainly, but of the artisan sort.
The base settles into vanilla, sugar and musk, leaving a trail that is vanillic, gently musky and lightly powdered—rather like cashmere against the skin. Comforting, yet never oppressive on milder days.
Amongst its accords, fruity and sweet take centre stage, supported by that initial citrus freshness and a soft floral hum beneath. It is an honest perfume: joyful, luminous and entirely comfortable in its own skin.
Judging by its marks—an average of 4.5 out of 5 from six votes—it has already won over a small but devoted following.
It will appeal to lovers of sweet yet zesty scents, devotees of peach and berries, and anyone after a feminine, good-humoured signature for daily wear that raises a smile rather than an eyebrow.
Perla Cute Monster proves that a name can be a promise kept: charming in title, mischievous in spirit and utterly moreish in the wearing. With peach, blueberry and vanilla at its core, Mirada has conjured a delightful fruity floral that sweetens the day without apology.
