Maison 18.10 launches Tentatio, a new woody aromatic fragrance created for both women and men. The 2026 release is the work of perfumers Ioannis Tsoumanis and Popi Mouzioura.
With a bright, peppery opening and a soft balsamic base, Tentatio sits somewhere between invigorating and comforting. It’s a nuanced composition with a distinctly contemporary feel.
At the start, black pepper, green tea, fig leaves and elemi set the tone: crisp, slightly sharp and green, with a faint resinous glow.
The heart brings violet leaves, freesia, nutmeg, rose and fig. Here the scent turns rounder and more floral, while the fruitiness of fig and the warmth of nutmeg keep it from feeling too delicate.
The base gathers lentisk resin, Iso E Super, ambergris, cashmere, vanilla, benzoin, amber and iris. The dry-down is powdery, woody and mildly sweet, with a gentle, enveloping warmth.
Accords such as amber, woody, fresh spicy, green, powdery, balsamic, floral, musky, aromatic and vanillic reveal the fragrance’s layered personality. For all its complexity, Tentatio remains coherent and easy to wear.
