Terracota: Sorry Not Sorry’s New Woody Oriental

Terracota is a brand-new unisex fragrance from Sorry Not Sorry, launched in 2026 and rooted in the woody oriental family. It was created by perfumer Pedro Kimo.

Balancing sweet and resinous elements, Terracota takes its name from the earth and translates it into something unexpectedly lush, with a fresh, spicy heart and a deep, woody base.

The opening is a striking mix of maple syrup and bergamot. The syrupy sweetness is lifted by vivid bergamot, giving the first moments of Terracota a lively, gourmand character.

At the heart, white chocolate, frankincense, vanilla, jasmine, thyme and sage form an unusual combination. It feels creamy, balsamic and aromatic, with enough herbal freshness to keep the composition light on its feet.

The base layers patchouli, amber, oud, dry woods, oak and tonka bean. This is where the perfume gains its oriental depth: smoky and resinous woods meet a soft, sweet warmth that clings to the skin.

Listed accords include woody, amber, vanilla, fresh spicy, sweet, aromatic, patchouli, citrus, warm spicy and balsamic. There is a clear tension between indulgence and restraint, which makes Terracota especially interesting.

The fragrance currently holds a perfect rating of 5.0 out of 5, based on three reviews. As a 2026 launch, it is still building its audience.

Terracota suits anyone who loves woody orientals with a touch of gourmand sweetness and fresh spice. It works best for autumn and winter evenings, but has enough brightness for those who like wearing richer scents all year round.

Terracota is a bold, elegant addition to the Sorry Not Sorry line. It brings together sweetness, spice and wood in a way that feels both modern and timeless – and confirms Pedro Kimo’s skill with contrasts.
