About Glamour
Glamour by Laverne: A New Oriental Floral Perfume for Women (2026)
Laverne presents Glamour, a new women's perfume in the Oriental Floral olfactory family. Composed by perfumer Santosh Shinde, it arrives in 2026 with a character that balances fresh flowers and a warm, vanilla base.
The olfactory pyramid opens with jasmine, freesia, ivy and white flowers, moves into a heart of geranium and rosehip, and settles on a base of vanilla, amber and musk. So far, it holds an average rating of 2/5, which gives us pause.
The initial impression of Glamour is bright and faintly green. Jasmine, freesia, ivy and white flowers make for an unexpectedly crisp start, with the ivy giving a slightly sharp edge.
At the heart, geranium and rosehip come forward. The geranium lends a mildly spicy, aromatic tone, while the rosehip adds sweetness with a hint of fruit. This middle phase is smooth.
The base relies on vanilla, amber and musk. It's a warm, powdery finish that stays close to the skin. The vanilla is rich but not too sugary; the amber gives a resinous character; and the musk rounds things off.
The core accords are white floral, rose, floral, vanilla, musky, fresh spicy, amber, powdery, green and aromatic. That's a crowded palette, making Glamour a rather complex perfume.
With a single rating of 2.0/5, Glamour hasn't made an inspireing start. Still, one person's opinion is not a strong signal. We'd advise a personal trial.
Glamour is aimed at women who appreciate oriental florals with a green and slightly sugary character. It's suited to autumn evenings or spring days that need an extra layer of warmth.
In summary, Glamour by Laverne is a well-structured perfume with an elegant yet quirky personality. The early rating of 2/5 is not encouraging, but perfumes are subjective. If you're drawn to jasmine and vanilla with a twist, testing it on your own skin is the only way to know.
