Released in 2025 by The Dua Brand, Poseidon's Elixir 17X is a fruity chypre developed for men and created by perfumer Mahsam Raza.
It combines orchard and tropical fruit with sparkling citrus before settling into woods, oakmoss and musk with a gentle vanilla sweetness.
Pineapple, green apple and blackcurrant shape the fruit accord. The effect moves from tropical ripeness to crisp greenness to a sharper berry depth.
Bergamot and lime supply the citrus lift. They lend clarity and a tidy freshness that runs through the whole piece.
In the middle ground, jasmine offers a white floral softness and pink pepper a light peppery lift. Birch and patchouli add green wood and earthy texture.
Ambergris, musk, oakmoss, vanilla and cedar form the foundation. Moss underlines the chypre identity, musk brings a powdery blur, vanilla smooths the edges, and cedar holds a dry woody line.
The general impression is woody, fruity and citrus led, with sweet, musky, softly spiced, powdery and earthy support. Tradition is present in the moss and patchouli, but the mood stays modern and fruit forward.
