Rowdy Boy by Leland Francis arrives in 2025 as a woody aromatic fragrance for women and men, created by perfumer Gustavo Romero.
The composition moves from sparkling citrus into a full herbal middle, then rests on mellow resins and woods.
Bergamot, bitter orange and petitgrain shape the first impression. The result is clean and faintly bitter, brightened by the green character of petitgrain.
At the heart lie hay, calendula, lavender, geranium, neroli, rosemary, black pepper, oakmoss, clary sage and tarragon. Lavender and rosemary give a distinctly aromatic feel, while hay, clary sage and tarragon lend a dry herbal quality.
Geranium and neroli add a fresh floral lift, black pepper contributes a restrained spice, and oakmoss provides an earthy link to the base.
Benzoin, labdanum, sandalwood, tonka bean, vetiver and balsam fir form the foundation. The resins bring amber-like, balsamic warmth, sandalwood smooths the blend, and tonka bean adds a soft sweet touch.
Vetiver and balsam fir preserve a green woody thread to the end. Taken together, Rowdy Boy is a traditionally minded woody aromatic unisex fragrance, balancing fresh spice, greenery and mellow warmth.
