Cardamom leads the opening, leather and sambac jasmine — sampaguita — shape the heart, while amber, moss and patchouli form the base. The framework is spare, favouring texture over ornament.
The cardamom at the outset is warmly spiced and dry, rather than fresh. It provides a crisp spark that allows the leather theme to develop naturally.
At the centre, the leather feels dry and faintly animalic with a smoky veil. Sambac jasmine brings a generous white-floral quality that rounds the edges without sweetening the blend.
The drydown combines mellow amber, earthy and mossy notes, and patchouli with a woody depth. Here the mossy, earthy and woody facets become most apparent.
Overall, the perfume moves between white flowers, warm amber and leather. Spiced warmth, earth and light smoke are kept in balance, letting the floral element remain visible.
