Íris Infusion Brings Powdery Iris to Warm Resinous Woods
Le Botanic introduced Íris Infusion in 2025 as an Oriental Floral for women. The focus is a smooth, powder-soft iris resting on mellow resins and dry woods.
Rather than richness for its own sake, the composition favours clarity: a citrus-lit start, a green-tinged floral heart, and a warm, faintly smoky finish.
Top notes of African orange flower, neroli, orange and mandarin give a sparkling, white-floral lift. The effect is fresh and well-lit, without sharp zest.
At the centre, iris turns creamy and soft-focus, framed by galbanum and lentisk mastic resin. The greenness brings an herbal, resinous counterpoint to the powder.
The base of Virginia cedarwood, incense, benzoin and vetiver settles into dry timber, mellow balsam and a whisper of smoke. It feels smooth and settled on the skin.
Across the wear you can trace amber and balsam, citrus and white flowers, green and aromatic facets, plus that powdery, gently spiced warmth. The iris thread holds the whole piece together.
