Golden Rum & Amber from Dossier is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance for both women and men. The mood is mellow and indulgent, with a dark, sugared warmth tempered by spice and dry timber.
Bitter almond, plum and cade oil form the opening. A heart of rum, clove and cedar follows, resting on ambroxan, vanilla, Tolu balsam and candied fruits.
At first spray, nuttiness meets juiciness and a whisper of smoke. Bitter almond feels dry and powdery, plum lends ripe fruit, while cade oil adds a lean, almost incense-like dryness.
The heart is where the rum settles, smooth and gently liquorous. Clove warms the blend and cedar keeps it upright, giving a drier frame around the richer notes.
Through the base, vanilla turns creamy, Tolu balsam brings a soft resinous depth, candied fruits sustain the gourmand thread, and ambroxan lends an amber, faintly powdery finish.
Almond, warm spice and sweetness dominate, supported by fruity, nutty, powdery and amber undertones. It is opulent yet orderly, with a clear passage from top to base.
