The opening brings together grapefruit, lime, melon and pink pepper; the heart combines ginger, ylang-ylang and jasmine, with a base of cedar, patchouli and white musk.
The start is juicy and invigorating. Grapefruit and lime supply sharp, sunny acidity, melon a watery sweetness, and pink pepper a delicate prickle that keeps the citrus feeling awake.
At the centre, ginger takes the lead – fresh and piquant rather than fiery. Ylang-ylang lends a creamy, yellow-floral warmth with an exotic touch, while jasmine adds a neat white-floral clarity.
The dry-down rests on cedar, dry and well-groomed. Patchouli contributes a restrained earthiness, and white musk leaves a soft, freshly laundered impression.
