It moves from a lifted, spiced opening towards drier timber notes, before resting on a mellow amber, musk and vanilla foundation.
The top notes are cardamom, cipriol — nagarmota — and cypress. Cypress lends an aromatic green edge, cardamom warms the spice, and cipriol contributes a dry, earthy woodiness.
At the heart, cedar, patchouli and oud wood take over. Cedar keeps the profile lean, patchouli adds depth of soil and leaf, and oud wood brings the darker, resinous character.
The drydown blends vetiver, amber, musk, labdanum, sandalwood and vanilla. Labdanum and amber supply glowing resin, sandalwood and vetiver maintain the woody line, and musk with vanilla leave a powdery softness.
The overall impression is woody, ambery and musky, with aromatic, warm spicy and oud threads running through. Green brightness, dry timber and sweet resin are linked rather than contrasted sharply.
