Artistic Perfumery PM-01 by Armaf is a floral-fruity fragrance for women that plays freshness against warmth, keeping the flowers luminous throughout.
Bergamot, rhubarb, lychee and nutmeg lead the opening, followed by peony, rose, musk and vanilla at the heart, with cashmere, incense, cedar and vetiver forming the base.
At first it is all sparkle and green bite. Citrusy bergamot lifts, rhubarb contributes a sharp vegetal tang, lychee lends a juicy softness, and nutmeg dusts the top with dry spice.
The middle turns distinctly floral. Peony brings lightness and lift, rose feels clear-petalled rather than dense, musk freshens and cushions the bouquet, and vanilla adds a gentle creamy roundness.
Underneath, the foundation is drier and more textured. Cashmere gives a soft, fabric-like wrap, incense introduces pale smoke and a balsamic glow, while cedar and vetiver keep things woody, green and faintly earthy.
Accords of rose, blossoms, citrus, green and spice, both fresh and warm, run through the wear, with amber present as a mellow warmth rather than a rich sweetness.
