Released in 2023, OXGN Cedar Nutmeg is a woody-spicy fragrance designed for both women and men.
The composition pairs a lively fruity-citrus introduction with a heart of resins and spice and a foundation of amber and timber woods.
Up top are mint, berries, fruity notes, citrus accords, grapefruit, lime, mandarin and orange. It feels bright and crisp, the green coolness of mint set against sharp zest.
Through the middle come labdanum, Hedione, incense, jasmine and nutmeg. The texture grows richer, with balsamic and smoky elements alongside the white-floral character of jasmine.
Underneath lie amber, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver and cedar. The cedar and sandalwood lend dry definition, while amber brings a rounded warmth.
The whole remains balanced and easy to follow, its amber, balsamic, smoky and warm-spiced facets bridging the fresh opening and the cosier base.
