About Connexion

Connexion: Tobacco Turned Tender and Powdery

From A. Berger Parfums, Connexion is a scent for women and men launched in 2026.

The nose behind it is Alina Berger, who sets tobacco and tea against golden florals on a mellow balsamic and powder-soft foundation.

Top notes of tobacco, hojicha and tea open the composition. Here tobacco reads as toasted and dry, freshened by green tea and the distinctive roasted depth of hojicha.

At the centre, narcissus and osmanthus meet apricot. The result is a yellow-floral heart, faintly green, with a restrained fruity sweetness that never turns heavy.

The drydown combines opoponax, civet and powdery notes. Opoponax lends an ambery, balsamic glow, while civet adds texture in a softened, well-blended way.

Across the wear one notices green and aromatic touches alongside musk, amber, gentle sweetness and a whisper of the animalic. Balance matters more than contrast.

It settles from roast to powder, keeping a cosy, close-to-the-skin presence with a favourite-jumper feel.

It will suit those drawn to a lighter, more floral tobacco, plus devotees of tea accords, narcissus, osmanthus and talc-like bases with a carefully judged animalic edge.

In 2026 Alina Berger offers a poised unisex creation: tobacco, hojicha, apricot-tinged florals and opoponax brought together in warm, green-tinged powder. Understated and comforting.
