US Since 1986 by Enrico Buccella is an Oriental Woody fragrance for men and women, launched in 2026 and composed by Enrico Buccella himself.
The concept contrasts a verdant, aromatic opening in a Mediterranean vein with a full, balsamic and smoky foundation.
At the top are bay leaf, bergamot, cardamom, coriander, galbanum, myrtle and mastic resin. The impression is green and freshly spiced, aromatic yet edged with resin.
The heart pairs floral notes with oregano. The flowers lend softness without excess sweetness, while the oregano contributes a dry, herbaceous and faintly piquant character.
The foundation gathers grey amber, patchouli, tobacco, labdanum, oud wood, incense, benzoin, oakmoss, castoreum, cedar and Tolu balsam. This is where amber, balsamic warmth, smoke and leather come to the fore.
The development moves between verdancy and warm spice, tobacco and a measured sweetness from balsams and benzoin. Oakmoss and cedar supply woody structure, labdanum and incense deepen the resinous, smoky register.
The structure favours contrast: Mediterranean light to begin with, Oriental richness thereafter. Best worn unhurried, allowing each stage to settle on the skin.
