It begins with juicy, floral-tinged freshness before mellowing towards powder, wood and soft resin.
The top notes bring together yuzu, kumquat, magnolia and blackcurrant. The yuzu has a sharp, green bitterness of rind, the kumquat a rounder citrus sweetness. Magnolia lends a milky white-floral calm, while blackcurrant contributes a curranty, mouth-watering flourish.
At the heart, juniper and bay leaf introduce a chilled, herbal spiciness with a faintly camphorous edge. Cashmere wood and sandalwood follow, lending a supple, creamy cushion that eases the passage towards the darker foundation.
