Celestial Iris by Mea is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women. The mood is warm and velvety, freshened by a sparkling start and broadened by a plentiful floral centre.
Almond, coffee, bergamot and orange open the composition, leading to tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, iris and rose at the heart. Tonka bean, cacao, vanilla and praliné meet sandalwood, musk, amber, cashmere wood, cinnamon, patchouli and cedar in the base.
At first spray there is a gourmand sparkle. Almond offers a gentle toasted roundness, coffee lends quiet depth, while bergamot and orange lend a citrus lift that stops the opening feeling heavy.
The middle is lush and pale. Tuberose and jasmine feel plush and close-wearing, orange blossom brings clarity, and rose lends a familiar, well-groomed edge to the bouquet.
Iris provides the powder-soft link. Its talc-like character calms the exuberance of the white blossoms and prepares the way for the sweeter woods beneath, leaving a neat petal softness.
