From Mykonos, Mayfair is a Floral Fruity Gourmand designed for both women and men. Bright fruit and a soft caramel-floral centre sit above a much darker woody leather foundation.
Bergamot, orange and raspberry lead the opening, with caramel, lavender and jasmine at the heart. Woody notes, leather, patchouli and sandalwood form the base.
At first it is luminous and mouth-watering. Orange and bergamot bring zest and lift, letting the raspberry read ripe and lightly sharp rather than jammy.
Through the middle the texture thickens. Caramel gives a rounded, enveloping sweetness, lavender adds an aromatic powderiness, and jasmine keeps the white-floral side fresh.
As it settles, leather comes forward with a supple, faintly animal character. Earthy patchouli and creamy sandalwood join it, framed by dry woody notes.
The listed accords make sense on skin: woody, white floral and leather to the fore, supported by warm spice, powder, smoke and aromatic freshness. Lavender cuts through the richness nicely.
