About Dark Shadows
Dark Shadows: Citrus Brightness Against a Dark Base
From Lost Tribe, Dark Shadows is a scent for women and men introduced in 2026.
The composition is by Mathew Schmuelian and Rajesh Balkrishnan, built on fresh notes, florals and darker woods and resins.
Blood orange, lychee, rose oil, neroli and ambergris open the fragrance. The effect is sparkling and juicy, citrus tempered by floral and marine-like nuances.
At its centre lies Bulgarian rose, framed by jade tree blossom, blue cypress, osmanthus and fir. The floral character becomes greener and more balsamic, with gentle fruitiness.
The foundation combines oud wood, patchouli, labdanum, oakmoss, vetiver, tobacco and cocoa pod. Woody, mossy and earthy, it adds a softly gourmand warmth.
The stated accords of tobacco, citrus, roses, sweet, warm spicy, white floral, patchouli, mossy, cocoa and amber chart a clear path from light into shade.
Made for wearers who enjoy unisex perfumes of two halves: lively and rosy at first, then dark with tobacco, moss and cocoa.
Dark Shadows settles into a nocturnal, enveloping base that explains the title, with orange and rose still glowing faintly beneath.
