It projects like a beast a proper powerhouse. Sweet dark and ambered with a note quality that gives it a niche feel very different from the other 1 Million versions. It seems like a blend of 1 Million and PDM’s Herod. Absolutely brutal.
It’s absolute rubbish; the Elixir blows this Night out of the water. It smells heavy and cloying a fragrance for under-25s or those who want to smell the same as always. It’s not bad but I won’t be buying it again. The current perfumery scene has dropped a gear and you have to look very hard to find a gem; nothing new this year has convinced me.
I tried it once and perhaps that wasn’t the fairest opinion but it smells just like the original Elixir though it leans closer to the base 1 Million. We could call it a modernised remake of the original complete with those trendy sugary notes reminiscent of Scandal or Le Beau. Owning both Elixirs is redundant; they’re 90% identical: one with apple and rose this one with cinnamon and citrus. In short it’s very similar to the original Elixir but leans more towards the base 1 Million scent.
