This perfume gives me glamour and serenity; it’s a beautiful oriental, currently my favourite from Aerin Lauder. Amber Musk builds from less to more, doing its magic as it settles on the skin, enveloping you. It’s not intrusive; you notice its sillage, but it’s so creamy and captivating that you just want to enjoy it. It opens with ambroxan blending with the musk, followed by a fresh rose like one just opened, then the coconut (for me, that’s what makes it creamy, like coconut milk) and sandalwood. I’m still trying to detect the benzoin and blackberry; I’m not sure what they blend with. It’s a glamorous, serene oriental with that ‘less is more’ elegance. I see it for evening wear, formal occasions, and cold days. Rating 10/10.
It’s wonderful, I loved it…
It has the perfect balance of the Aerin line: musk, woods, and amber well-blended. Nothing sweetens or spiciness it here; it’s super natural. Apart from that, I don’t notice anything else; I barely detect the coconut. It’s subtle, delicate, and comforting. Ideal for any occasion, great for enjoying on its own. Sillage and longevity are moderate, although marketed as feminine, I feel it’s unisex.
