  • 29/4/2018. I haven’t been able to try it yet, but the Natura consultancy magazine lists the following notes: top of grapefruit, bergamot and lemon; heart of rose, jasmine and lily of the valley; base of cedar, sandalwood and cumaru (apparently the Brazilian name for a type of tonka bean). They highlight the bergamot, jasmine and cumaru, implying they are predominant over the others. The sample reminds me a lot of the Ekos Cacao line, which in Argentina only had hand and foot cream. Beautiful scent. 10/8/2018: It has disappointed me a little… It doesn’t last nearly long enough. As it dries, it shifts towards an amber cologne profile, more woody and slightly sweeter, but it’s not what seemed in the magazine. Mind you, it’s lovely, a pretty little scent, but it vanishes in a breath. Given how much the current Frescores in Argentina cost, I don’t think it’s worth it. For me, it would be a good perfume for children… (this doesn’t happen with the other Natura Frescors, which last a long time. For example, Buriti, Açaí or Pitanga Preta…)

I’ve had this Frescor for a few months. I only use it when it’s cold; to me, its scent is a blend of spices, flowers, and chocolate. Sillage and fixation are quite good despite it being a cologne.

I’ve had this Frescor for months. I only use it when it’s cold; its scent is a blend of spices, flowers and chocolate. The trail and longevity are quite good despite being a cologne.

  • It’s very similar to Castaña Frescor. It leaves a thin layer of oil on the skin. If they claim it has citrus notes, I certainly don’t detect them. Longevity is moderate to low depending on the temperature, but since I got it so cheaply, its volatility doesn’t bother me much. The Natura Frescors are colognes with modern scents, nothing like the bath colognes of the 70s in Buenos Aires.

  • Rich, rich, incredibly rich. Fresh yet comforting, it smells like a foot of lemon, but with Peruvian lemon, super zesty, mixed with a vanilla sweet. Yum.

  • A very fresh fragrance, the tonka bean feels very soft and the vanilla is almost non-existent. I’d recommend it as a first layer to set other perfumes with a tonka bean base note. It has moderate longevity. In my opinion, it has a very similar vibe to Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord.

Cumaru and tonka bean; there’s a huge difference because at least the one produced in Brazil does smell as Natura says. This perfume doesn’t have vanilla as mentioned; it’s the Cumaru that recalls vanilla, in my case vanilla ice cream, and it’s hardly sweet like a traditional tonka bean. The others are very sweet; this one isn’t sweet either, it’s very floral, almost a clean perfume. Why? Because in many white florals they give you that vibe of being clean, but the floral lasts a few minutes because the very light woods start to be felt and the Cumaru scent remains. Sandalwood, not sweet either. Very good, but yes, mostly a floral perfume. I’d even wear it in summer without any problem and it doesn’t bother anyone.

Cumaru and Tonka Bean: the difference is huge because the Brazilian one truly smells like Natura, but this lacks real vanilla; the Cumaru reminds me of vanilla ice cream and is almost clean, not as sweet as traditional Tonka Bean. It’s super floral and gives that freshly showered vibe, although the floral fades quickly before revealing very light woods with the firm Cumaru scent. The sandalwood isn’t sweet either, very good but predominantly floral. I’d wear it in summer without any issues and it doesn’t bother anyone.

  • I’ve just bought this Frescor and now I understand the comment that it smells like lemon feet; honestly, yes. It sounds shocking to compare it to food, but that’s exactly what it is. It’s sweet and very fruity, like orange pitanga. Honestly, it’s exquisite. I get a whiff of Cacharel’s Amor Amor, it was the first thing that came to mind, but less sharp. It’s very good for winter. As for longevity, it lasts a long time for me. Update: I had a love/hate relationship with it; despite how lovely it smelled, I ended up selling it because it lingered too much on my nose, being too aromatic and making me feel giddy. Just for that. Perhaps I was being exaggerated; I could have worn it in bed or on clothes, not directly on the skin. Try it first: lovely but can be dizzying.

Very tender, cosy and feminine. The tonka bean is noticeable a mile away. It reminded me of Mon Guerlain, so I added lavender oil to a decant and it became addictive. Excellent for layering, for example with citrus fragrances in summer.

Delicious Tonka Bean. I bought this Natura Frescor and was hugely surprised; I thought that as an EDT it wouldn’t perform well, WOW! It lasted 12 hours on the skin without any issues. Now that it’s summer, it seems rich and sweet, but I feel I’ll give it more rugged use from autumn onwards. It’s cosy, sweet, even a bit chocolatey; I like imagining it has something of chocolate in it.

  • I just received a sample and it seems like a super clean fragrance. It hasn’t fascinated me but it’s pleasant; it has a chocolatey aroma.

  • I love this frescor! I haven’t tried many (I only have Açaí, Chestnut and Cumaru), but of those three, Cumaru is the one I like most; I find it exquisite. Very sweet, but not heavy or annoying; those are the kind of scents that bother me (I have a high tolerance for sweets, as long as it’s not in very hot climates, which are my favourites). I also detect something citrusy, sparkling, energising that makes it more tolerable, fresh; not a pure dessert but a delicate sweet, very interesting… I’m fascinated! Perhaps the only downside is that on my skin it doesn’t have a very long-lasting duration. It lasts, but I don’t apply it in the morning to smell it at night. For a frescor, it’s very good, but the Açaí one I can smell all day. With the Cumaru one, it doesn’t pass; I have to reapply, which doesn’t bother me because I like it so much. I noticed I remember it very similar to the Cacao frescor, which years ago was my go-to Natura perfume (I always bought it and loved it, but they discontinued it and I was heartbroken). Now that I’ve discovered the Cumaru and my nose feels it similar to the Cacao, I don’t plan to leave it. If anyone is a fan of the Cacao frescor, they will probably like the Cumaru a lot. Simply, to my taste, it’s delicious. I recommend it to everyone who likes sweet aromas. Update: I now have one more (Buriti) and it seems delicious. I loved using it in summer; it’s fresh, I detect a little sweetness, but it’s citrusy and fresh, an aroma I’ve never known, different. However, I stick with Cumaru as my favourite aroma of the frescors I’ve tried; I love it, super delicious. I think it will become a classic and I will enjoy it a lot now that the weather in Argentina is getting cooler (edited in April and we are starting autumn). I didn’t use it much in summer because, although it doesn’t bother, I prefer fresher aromas, perhaps with a tiny touch of floral sweet, citrus or light fruity notes, delicate but not so vanilla or chocolatey for summer, which tire me and sometimes make me feel unwell. So in autumn, winter and fresh spring, Cumaru is the perfect fragrance to smell sweet but delicate and fresh at the same time. It’s beautiful.

  • Sweet, creamy, unisex, lovely, comforting, hot, bittersweet, gourmet… A YouTuber said there are vanillas that feel plastic; I think I understood what they meant and with this fragrance, don’t misunderstand me, I have loved it too much. I am a man and I wear it perfectly; you are a sweetness that doesn’t cloy. Yes, it reminds me a little of caramelised chocolate.

A while ago I smelled this fragrance in its original bottle and thought it was beautiful: chocolatey, warm, earthy. In the end, I didn’t buy it. I don’t know if the mistake was not perceiving it on my skin, or if my pH changed it, or if there was a reformulation. I was about to buy the new presentation and it seemed totally different. With a single application, I felt invaded by citrus; where did that previous aroma go? Almost stinging. Its acidity made me dizzy and I thought it would change later, but no, it stayed like that. Volcanic orange blossom water was the same. Its trail is good for an EDT (my misfortune), but the longevity didn’t exceed three hours. It disappointed me greatly compared to how I remembered it and considering the perfumes I like. But if you love amber-style colognes and want something warm for autumn/winter, it would be your ideal option. For me, better to pass this time.

I smelled this fragrance in its original presentation some time ago and found it beautiful: chocolatey, warm and earthy, but I didn’t buy it. I don’t know if the mistake was in not perceiving its performance on my skin, if my pH altered it, or if there was a reformulation, because the new presentation seemed totally different. With a single application, I felt overwhelmed by sharp citrus notes; the acidity made me dizzy and I thought it would change later, but it didn’t. It smelled just like orange blossom water. Its trail is good for an EDT, but the duration didn’t exceed three hours. I was very disappointed, although if you love amber-style colognes and want something warm for autumn/winter, this would be your ideal option. For me, better to pass this time.

  • I bought it because they told me it was warm and sweet due to Tonka Bean, a note I enjoy, but I haven’t been able to use it. I only sense it as clean, very citrusy at the start, then it evolves into floral and slightly woody. I don’t feel it sweet or chocolatey like Kriska Arrasa, which I adore. I use it in bed because on my skin it’s nothing to like and it doesn’t last, but since I don’t like it, this is better.

  • I bought it because I was told it was warm and sweet due to having something similar to tonka bean, a note I like, but I haven’t been able to wear it. I only smell cleanliness; very citrusy when first sprayed, then it evolves into floral and slightly woody. I don’t feel it sweet or chocolatey like the Kriska Arrasa that I love. I use it in bed because on my skin I don’t like it at all and it doesn’t last either. Since I don’t like it, better not to.

  • locadelosperfumes

Super citrusy at first, then becomes very masculine. Doesn’t smell of chocolate. I ended up using it as an air freshener.

I don’t know what’s wrong with big catalogue brands: Natura, Mary Kay, Yves Rocher, L’Oréal, Oriflame, Jafra. Expensive perfumes with terrible performance. In this case, Natura. It was another birthday gift and I liked it; it smells nice and is charming for warm climates, but what a disappointment the longevity is—it lasts as long as a small fart between your hands. Other products from the brand I’ve used, such as shampoos, hair creams, face creams, or the fabulous hand creams I give my mother, are very good, excellent. But the perfumes have very little or no olfactory value. What a pity; the brand isn’t cheap and relies on organic and natural ingredients from the Amazon. It’s sad to see there’s no creativity or anything new to surprise us; the perfumes come out terrible and without charm. What is going on?

  • Cherrylicious

Lasts about six hours on my skin and smells great. I only detect tonka bean; it reminds me of the cacao and chestnuts from the same line; they are similar. All three are delicious and cheap for the amount you get. I would buy it again because it gives me a very rich, sweet sensation on the skin.

  • teteboeta

Starts fresh and becomes warm as it dries down. Lasts about three hours on me, but considering the price and that it’s just a frescor, I think it’s acceptable. What I don’t like about Natura is that they seem to take their best products off the catalogue every other month. The Ekos Alma, which was a wonder, has disappeared; the Essential Myrrh, the best in the range, is being sold for the last time this month… and so on.

  • PiñaKawaii

Lovely! It starts off super citrusy before settling into a cosy, warm scent with that tonka bean note giving it a chocolatey touch. What makes it special is the clean floral heart, especially the lily of the valley. It doesn’t become cloying; it’s very well balanced and, being fresh, many noses tolerate it even if they don’t usually wear sweet perfumes. It’s very similar to the Chestnut Frescor, but I think the lavender note makes this one more aromatic and clean. On my skin, it lasts about three hours. It’s good value, not painful to reapply, and perfect for cold days; perhaps a bit too much for summer.
