  I bought it on sale for layering and made a mistake. It’s not dessert vanilla; it’s dry vanilla with lots of wood. It has character and asks for compliments on its own. The sillage is good and lasts over 8 hours. It’s versatile: a little goes a long way for daytime, even in summer, and more for evening. I didn’t expect so much and was hugely surprised.

  It’s an affordable gem, a lovely little fragrance that goes unnoticed. Forget the sweet, cloying vanilla; this is more of a ‘vanilla inflorescence’, as if the vanilla itself were a flower. Warm floral luck, fruity and silky, blended with woods and flowers that give a comforting warmth without any drama. It carries musk even if not listed. It’s a delight, simple yet not repetitive. Smelling it on the skin is another world compared to the card. Must try!

  I used it to blend with Verbena and it was divine, but on my skin it smells like nothing and leaves no trail. I’ll try pairing it with an EDP to make it more noticeable. Although it’s a light floral and not a sweet vanilla, I think Solinotes projects better.

  I bought it for layering; I have the Verbena version and it’s exquisite. This one disappointed me in longevity and sillage; it’s almost imperceptible, even inches from the skin minutes after application. I’ll try combining it with an EDP to lift the notes. Although the fragrance is pleasant, as it’s not caramelised vanilla but a light floral, I think Solinotes have more projection.

  I bought it to enhance vanilla in other fragrances, but it disappoints. The vanilla scent is unpleasant and doesn’t last on my skin at all. I wouldn’t buy it again or recommend it if you’re looking for gourmand vanilla.

  It’s not sugary dessert vanilla; it smells of orchid with dry vanilla. It’s a delicious vanilla-floral scent, sweet but not cloying. It’s exquisite, elegant, and warm. I love it for every day and any season. It lasts around 5-6 hours; no need to reapply often as it’s linear and soft. Divine :3

  It’s not classic sugary vanilla at all. It smells of orchid with dry vanilla, more a delicious vanilla-floral scent than anything edible. It’s exquisite, sweet, floral, and elegant, with a warm and inviting aroma. Sweet but not cloying. I AMOOOO it for every day and any season ❤. Very good longevity, around 5-6 hours, and no need to reapply often as it’s not overpowering or shifting; it’s linear and the scent barely projects upon spraying. Divine :3
