  • What luxury! If you want something masculine, phenomenal longevity, and to smell like a wealthy magnate, this is it. Very refined and sophisticated. I paid a premium for the first release, but it was worth it, although the price might drop. They say it resembles D&G Luminous Night, though I don’t know for sure; many do compare them. It’s balanced with tonka, bergamot, tobacco, exquisite myrrh, and relaxing woody incense similar to Loewe 7. What a fantastic perfume and highly recommended! Lattafa has done it again. Finding these rarities is what motivates me to keep buying.

I haven’t tried D&G’s One L luminous Night yet, but it’s rumoured to be a clone. It smells like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid but is more versatile. It’s a delightful unisex scent, right in the middle of both genders, and feels timeless. I’m not saying this, but after just three or four sprays on my skin (not on clothes), I can still smell it all day. It has incredible projection, creating a two-metre cloud; it’s very concentrated and noticeable. I detect a hint of leather. It’s no coincidence—it’s perfect for dates, dinners, and elegant celebrations. This is Lattafa’s high-end range, and they’ve hit the nail on the head. What a magnificent perfume!

I haven’t smelled The One Luminous Night by Dolce&Gabbana, but they say it’s inspired by it. It has a touch of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid but is more versatile. A delightful unisex scent that smells eternal. Just three or four sprays on the body create a bubble two metres wide; it’s a very concentrated beast. I detect a slight leather note. It’s not casual; it’s for dates, dinners, and elegant celebrations. It’s the high-end range from Lattafa, and they’ve hit hard. What a fantastic perfume!

One of the richest scents I have ever experienced, even though I’ve smelled thousands. It could be worth ten times more and would still be a triumph. It smells elegant without shouting, with a low-key profile. 10/10.

One of the richest perfumes I’ve ever smelled in my life; I’ve smelled thousands. It could be worth ten times more and still be great. Smells elegant without seeking attention, low-key profile. 10/10.

If this wants to clone Clive Christian’s Blonde Amber, it would have to be reborn a thousand times.

  • In the opening, it smells like cough syrup, but as it dries down, it improves with date, tobacco, sandalwood, and incense notes. I don’t recommend buying blind; try it first. It’s not bad, but it’s not for me.

The packaging alone justifies the purchase. It arrived in a sturdy cardboard box, well-printed, delicate, and tasteful, wrapped in cellophane. Inside, there’s a rigid box (cardboard or wood-effect PVC) that opens like a book, with exquisite perforation work. The lining is velvety, elevating it to luxury. Upon opening, the bottle dazzles with Dubai’s skyline in gold against black, very elegant. The cap is the least original part, but it’s common in the Pride line. Materials are heavy and functional. To the juice: it’s not for everyone. Very delicious but uncommon. The opening is sweet, but not in a friendly way. It’s not gourmand vanilla or chocolate. It’s the sweetness of a cooked base with grapes, plums, and pepper, almost like a cough syrup. Delicious? Yes. Performance and longevity on skin are excellent. But it’s not for me; I think it’s more feminine, ideal for a woman at an elegant evening event. The best part is the price. It’s incredible that Lattafa makes products available that were once for the few.

The presentation justifies the purchase: sturdy cardboard case, delicate design, and cellophane. A rigid book-style box with exquisite perforations and a velvet lining. The bottle shows the golden Burj Al Arab on black, very elegant. The cap is common to the Pride line, but the materials are heavy and functional. Delicious yet uncommon scent: sweet opening like grape syrup, plums, and pepper, almost cough syrup-like. Great sillage and longevity. I see it more for women at elegant events. The price is incredible, making what was once exclusive accessible to many.

There are plenty of Arabic fragrances that smell super generic and identical. This Lattafa definitely fits into that segment. I gifted it to a friend, and I’m sure they will appreciate it more than I would.

  • There are many generic Arab fragrances; this Lattafa fits that segment. I gifted it to a friend who will appreciate it more than I do.

  • Pride line packaging at its finest: black box with a metal plaque and a bottle featuring the golden Burj Al Arab. Smells like Khamrah but with myrrh, sandalwood, patchouli, and tobacco, giving it freshness and depth. The davana and bergamot add a minty touch without being sporty. It’s an EDP that projects like a Parfum, though its longevity is moderate. Quality 10/10. While Khamrah is Molly Weasley, this is Albus Dumbledore: it smells like old libraries and journeys. No hype, but it won’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a Blonde Amber clone, note that it lacks rum and the citrus notes are toned down; they’re different paths but start from the same point.

  • Packaging worthy of the Pride line: a black box with a shiny metal plaque, beautiful. The bottle has the same morphology but highlights the Burj Al Arab in gold. It smells like the Khamrah line with dates and vanilla, but here there is myrrh, sandalwood, patchouli, and tobacco that give it freshness and depth, elevating it. The Davano and bergamot add a slightly mentholated touch, without smelling sporty, just refreshing. It claims to be an EDP, but the concentration is so high it creates a film on the skin as if it were a Parfum, although longevity and projection are intermediate. Ingredient quality is 10/10, aroma is 10/10, trail is 7/10, longevity is 7/10. While Khamrah is the Molly Weasley perfume due to its homey dates and vanilla, Art of Arabia III is for Albus Dumbledore: wiser and older. It smells like old libraries, journeys, and centuries of wisdom. The incense and myrrh give it an almost sacred air, like the Hogwarts headmaster. It doesn’t have much hype, but I recommend trying it; you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for a clone of Clive Christian’s Blonde Amber, it has an air of it, but it lacks 70% of the rum, the citrus is toned down, and the floral part is less intense. They start from the same point but take different paths: this one goes with dates, while the BACC goes floral. Even so, it wouldn’t be redundant to have both, especially given the excellent price of Art of Arabia III.
