The king of Bacarat Rouge 540 dupes
La Rouge Baroque by Maison Alhambra: inspired by the legendary Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. It has excellent longevity and projection, and it performs well on clothes. It suits both ladies and gentlemen; niche perfumes make no distinction between genders. In my opinion, a fragrance that you must have in your Arab perfumery collection.
It gets quite close to the 540 from MFK, obviously you can notice the difference in ingredient quality and how they blend, but you can perceive all the notes of the original in Baroque. Longevity and projection are decent for the price.
Very good fragrance, but you must like spicy perfumes. I didn’t know the 540 from MFK, but I bought 1 ml to clear my doubts, and yes, they resemble each other quite a bit. Of course, this perfume from MA feels synthetic in some notes, but for the ridiculous price, it’s worth it.
I bought it blindly due to good comments about the similarity to the 540 in scent and performance, but I found they changed the packaging, the name, and the performance is non-existent. It’s now called La Rouge Baroque by Maison Alhambra; it seems like a reformulation type Nerf or a batch with poor quality. A friend sprayed it twelve times and it was like bottled water, with no scent; barely noticeable even in the nostrils. I’ve tried copies for three dollars that last longer. We’ll leave it in the Stan By for a while to see if oxygen works its miracle; if so, we’ll update and it would be a miracle worthy of beatification. Similarity to 540: 7/10. Longevity: 3/10. Sillage: 4/10. Packaging quality: 3/10. Aesthetics: 2/10.
I bought it blindly due to good comments regarding the similarity to 540 in scent and longevity, but I found that the packaging, name and longevity have changed. It’s now called La Rouge Baroque by Maison Alhambra; or there was a reformulation like Nerf, or I came across a batch that failed quality control. A friend sprayed twelve sprays and it was like bottled water, with no scent; barely smells even in the nostrils. The perfume is genuine and bought from a trusted retailer, stored well, but I’ve tried $3 copies that last longer. I haven’t tried the 540 from Maison Francis Kurkdjian, but if it smells like this… frankly, it’s not for me. It smells like a ninety-year-old lady with poor taste, like cheap fragrance. I thought I’d love it for the notes, but please, try it before buying.
I haven’t tried the Maison Francis Kurl 540, but if it smells like this… frankly, it’s not for me. It smells like a 90-year-old lady with terrible taste, like cheap fragrance. I thought I’d love it for the notes, but please, try it before buying.
Addicted to perfumes and this is one of the best Baccarat clones. Lasts over six hours, it’s super oily and gives incredible value. It’s incredibly rich and the price is around twenty dollars. I recommend it blindly.
I’m addicted to perfumes and I swear this is one of the best clones of Bacarat. It lasts over six hours, is super oily and performs incredibly well on the skin. It smells delicious and the price always hovers around $20. I recommend it with my eyes closed.
Ideal for those who love sweet and fruity scents. It opens with an explosion of saffron, pear, and mandarin, juicy and bright. The heart is floral with jasmine, ylang-ylang, and lily of the valley, elegant and feminine. The base is creamy and warm, with cashmere, amber, and musk, very comforting. Perfect for autumn and winter, for daily wear or special occasions. For people with a classic and romantic style, versatile for the office or a date.

It’s the cheapest and most faithful option to Baccarat Rouge 540. For little money, you get a scent that, while not matching the original MFK, performs very well and resembles it closely. The amber-musk accord with burnt caramel and an ethereal air is there from the first second. It lacks the same depth and refinement, but it’s surprising how close it gets. I’d recommend it to lovers of this DNA; at this price, reapplying doesn’t hurt. Excellent Arab alternative.
It’s a type of Bacarat Rouge… I can’t identify the notes. It’s spiced, woody and ambered. Intense, it’s the kind that usually overwhelms me and gives me a headache. Definitely unisex. It’s not for heavy application or summer. It’s rich and special, but I wouldn’t buy it blindly.

Smells like a blowtorch burning Italian meringue, nothing more and nothing less. It’s such a rich scent that I don’t understand why I love it so much. Lasts about three hours with average projection, but on the skin it stretches up to eight hours.
