  1. I don’t know much about MFK, but this Philos Rosso hits hard. At first, it smells strange to my novice nose, like candied red fruit with something more ‘macho’ underneath. The fruity opening is intense and noticeable from a metre away for an hour and a half. Once it dries down, it becomes more pleasant and the scents blend, though that candied fruit still dominates. I think it’s ideal for autumn or spring, neither too hot nor too cold. It lasts 8-9 hours, with the last three hours barely on the skin. At $14-15 in Chile, it’s an interesting option, although I recommend trying it before buying.

  2. I bought it because people said it was a dupe for Baccarat Rouge, something exclusive. On my skin, I only smell papyrus and tobacco (not something I find pleasant), and only right up against the skin. I didn’t like it at all. Other perfumes from Maison Alhambra are very well done, with good longevity and sillage, almost like the originals, just like the Jubilant (dupe for Versace Crystal Noir) or the one for YSL’s Libre.

  3. I bought it because it was a dupe of the exclusive Bacarat Rouge. On my skin I only smell papyrus and tobacco (not for me), just a hint of skin. Other Maison Alhambra perfumes are very well crafted, with good longevity and projection, almost like the originals, such as Jubilant (dupe of Versace Crystal Noir) and the one for YSL Libre.

  4. Philos Rosso from Maison Alhambra blends the vibrant sweetness of raspberry with the citrus touch of Sicilian lemon for a luminous and cheerful opening. In the heart, it becomes floral and classic with jasmine and rose. The special part is the dry down: the vanilla, amber and musk soften it and give it a sensual warmth that lingers. It suits several seasons, although it shines in spring and summer due to its fruity and floral character. It’s perfect for everyday wear, the office or a casual outing, ideal for someone elegant looking for something feminine, luminous and romantic.

  6. Terrible opening scent. The Sicilian lemon hits very hard and really smells like cat urine. It never loses that bad smell. It was a waste of money, although it was cheap for me.

New favourite! Bought blind and I was blown away. It’s a gem: potent, citrusy, with that new leather wallet touch I love. On my skin it opens with citrus, saffron and spices, then jasmine (I’m hooked!). Fresh, clean, woody and super sexy. Fills the room for hours. Six sprays is enough. Smells rich, expensive and natural. It’s my best clone of the original Bacarat, lasts forever and is perfect for cool climates. The bottle is stunning, accessible luxury. I’ll use it more and update later. 1000/10! Update: after a month, I confirm it’s a stylish bomb. My son wore it too, so I have another fan at home.

New favourite unlocked!!! Once again, I let myself be led by reviews and bought it blindly, with a mix of expectation and fear. I can’t believe how long it took me to get it. It’s an absolute gem. From the first spray, it feels potent, citrusy, fresh, with that new leather wallet scent I love. It’s clearly unisex. On my skin, the citrus stands out, that little hint of saffron and spices mixed with a potent leather. Then the jasmine appears and I can’t stop smelling it. It’s fresh, clean, woody and very sexy. It filled the room for hours. You don’t need to apply much; about six sprays in key places are enough. It smells rich, expensive, not artificial and of unsurpassable quality. I should clarify that this is the first time I’ve used it and it hasn’t macerated yet, so in a month it will be even more potent. As for the DNA, it’s the best clone of the ridiculously expensive Baccarat Rouge for me, with exceptional longevity and spectacular quality. I think it’s suitable for any season, especially cooler climates. I’ll keep using it and update later. It has become my new favourite from the very first use. The packaging is lovely; the bottle is a jewel of suede and gold with a beautiful, heavy cap. It exudes luxury wherever you look at it at an accessible price. Definitely worth repurchasing without a doubt. 1000/10. Update: After a month, I confirm it’s an exquisite and stylish bomb. Its unisex vibe captivated my son too, so I have another fan in the family. Favourite by a million.

  9. It has become one of my favourite perfumes. From the very first spray, I loved it; it’s super sweet and fresh, not cloying at all. Once it dries down, it acquires a more potent tone, yes. For me, it can be worn in all seasons, day or night. And the best part is that it’s incredibly cheap, so what it offers makes it a safe purchase.

  12. I love it! I pair it with In the Star by BBW and it lasts forever; sometimes I think it’s gone and suddenly it reappears. It soaks into hair and clothes until the next day, and even if I wear it before bed, it still smells good the next morning. I believe these are the correct notes: Top notes: rose and saffron. Heart: patchouli and cedar. Base: tobacco, musk and vanilla.

It soaks into my hair and clothes until the next day, and if I put it on before going to sleep, it feels good the next day. I think these are the correct notes: Top notes: rose and saffron. Heart notes: patchouli and cedar. Base notes: tobacco, musk and vanilla.

In my opinion, it’s a very sexy perfume. It smells like tobacco mixed with some liqueur, very sensual and intriguing. Although it’s perfect for women, I think it suits a man too; it’s versatile and can be worn all year because its trail is soft and not cloying. Definitely one of my favourites.

In my opinion, this is a very sexy perfume. It feels like mixing tobacco with some liquor, resulting in a sensual and intriguing aroma. Although it suits women perfectly, I think it would work excellently on a man too, as it’s versatile and can be worn in any season. Its sillage is soft and not cloying. Definitely one of my favourite perfumes.

  16. A cool scent for fresh days, unisex and hassle-free. It’s a blend that works, reminiscent of Bacarat but with its own personality. If you like that style, I recommend it.
