  I have a curious experience with this perfume… I bought it a year ago and loved the sparkling opening when I first wore it, but within minutes I felt it was too floral and the charm was gone. Yesterday, seeing it again (I didn’t even remember I had it) just after a fresh night bath, I applied it. Ooh, surprise! I can’t explain my past anecdote, but now I love it. From yesterday to today, I’ve already taken a centimetre off the bottle, haha. I think the weather and temperature have a lot to do with the activation. That’s the only thing I think. Projection 10, longevity 8-9, scent 10.

  I tried it in a perfumery and didn’t expect to like it, as the first Beautiful always seemed to smell of putrid drain water to me, horrible. But this version is sweet, creamy, slightly spicy, powdery, and delicious. The neroli, my least favourite flowers, aren’t total protagonists but are there offering a balanced equilibrium and are acceptable to me. The rose, gardenia, and orange blossom give it a chic and splendid touch. My goodness, I have to buy this beauty, I’ve loved it.

  Beautiful to the point of filling you with joy. It’s an exquisite, sparkling, and striking floral; the base feels subtly honeyed (I suppose the ambroxan and musk do some magic). Nowadays, scents like this survive the deluge of gourmand smells, and it’s good that they remain to remind us that variety is the spice of life. I feel it’s very elegant; I couldn’t expect less from Estée Lauder.

  Very floral and elegant, super versatile and well-balanced. It’s a cheerful and youthful scent. Longevity is around 6 to 7 hours on skin, with a moderate trail.

  Flowers and more flowers, typical of Lauder: intense and imposing. Extreme longevity, it leaves a trail and is noticeable with every movement. Less romantic than the original, it’s more dynamic and modern. The opening is sparkling and cheerful; the heart of gardenia and neroli dominates for a while before softening with the musk. It probably has that 90s vibe. I haven’t tried the Magnolia one yet. It’s a lovely perfume, not just another floral. It has that unmistakable Estée Lauder signature.

  I had to sell it. The opening is lovely, but then the neroli, marzipan, and suede start to overwhelm; it’s an aroma with the E. Lauder seal that persists too long. The trail goes from intense to moderate, softening after the second hour. The bottle is gorgeous, but for my nose, it was ‘too much’.

  Very floral yet with a creamy texture and a touch of sweetness. I love it: it’s elegant and potent, but also tender and romantic. A pure beauty, just as its name suggests.
