This fragrance kicks off with attractive spices and bright lemony tones. The amber and the harmony of bourbon with the spices create an intoxicating cocktail that invites you to dance. It evolves mystically, with an emotional hypnosis revealing a neroli heart. The enigmatic notes of iris alongside leather give a modern, masculine touch. The warm notes of benzoin blend with the dark wood of gaïac and amber, highlighting the warmth until it becomes intense with tobacco and tonka bean.
Launched in 2015 as the younger sibling of the well-known Bvlgari Man, it brings spices, rum, leather, iris, neroli, and a base of tonka and benzoin. It’s a dark and exquisite scent. Very spicy (you can feel the pepper and cumin) yet fresh, floral, and creamy thanks to the base. Its only drawback is longevity (even though it’s an EDP Intense…) which barely lasts 3-4 hours. Today I applied a moisturising lotion and nearly 20 sprays to see how it holds up.
Great vibe, grabbed me straight away, especially that brutal boozy opening and how it dries down to leather. The trail is moderate, which is its only flaw. I’d recommend it for over 25s, for going out at night in formal wear.
