  Reviewing a limited edition feels like saying goodbye; you know it’ll be the last bottle and only memories will remain… Yet it’s fascinating to see how the industry obsesses over releasing extra versions for marketing or lack of ideas… Here it seems a tribute to the All Blacks rugby team… The bottle is gorgeous. The liquid differs from Bulgari Man Extreme: less fresh juicier and electric with more wood and spices than citrus. They share almost all the notes but in different proportions. The spices and wood slightly muffle the citrus and cactus giving a more evening dark and formal feel against the original’s daytime brightness… After six hours the citrus returns with hints of amber and cardamom… They are different; it’s a very good fragrance denser but without that linear freshness of the Extreme.

  Well I already owned Man in Black and Man Primero; I gifted the latter to my son and picked this up myself. It’s clearly different with a greenish touch and very potent so you need to be careful with the drops as it lasts forever. It smells highly spiced and maintains its presence all day; the wood note is slightly subtle but overall it’s a hit.
