Descripción

Nº 3 Magnetic Seduction by Victorio & Lucchino is a fragrance from the olfactive family for men, launched in 2018. Its composition, designed by perfumer Victorio & Lucchino, unfolds with the freshness of grapefruit, bergamot, and mint in the top notes. The heart reveals the elegance of iris, cardamom, and ginger, while the base settles on the warmth of benzoin, cedar, and vetiver.

  • This is a knock-off Valentino Uomo for crisis times, exaggerating the caramel load and downgrading ingredient quality in exchange for more millilitres. It’s as if they replaced Valentino’s high-altitude roasted coffee with a vulgar bowl of cheap milky coffee. No one has explained why a house like Victorio and Lucchino, which reached the heights with masterpieces like Abril, would make such a misstep with these nauseating men’s fragrances. Only for compulsive buyers of knock-offs and cheap trinkets.

  • This is a knock-off of Valentino Uomo for crisis times, over-amplifying the caramel and downgrading ingredient quality to sell more millilitres. It’s as if they replaced Valentino’s fine roasted coffee with a vulgar takeaway latte. No one explains why a house like Victorio and Lucchino, which created masterpieces like Abril, would kick a masterpiece to the curb with these nauseating men’s fragrances. Only for compulsive buyers of knock-offs and cheap junk.

I picked it up for €10 at the supermarket, and for that price, you can’t ask for more; it definitely doesn’t smell bad as other comments suggest.

  • To be honest, it’s a very good cologne. It doesn’t have spectacular longevity, but it’s not bad for the price. I’ve tried Acqua di Parma or Etro perfumes that cost ten times more, and the difference in longevity isn’t that abyssal; the quality is noticeable, but for €10, what do you expect? It seems more similar to Dior Homme Intense than Valentino Uomo. With VO, it only shares bergamot and cedar, but here the powdery air is less prominent. VO is creamier and chocolatey with hazelnut, which is absent here. With DHI, it shares iris, cedar, and vetiver; the powdery iris is the key to both, but then they take different paths. DHI is French elegance, while this fragrance bets on citrus and spices to be softer and lighter, without losing its oriental soul. It’s an oriental, woody, spiced, and sweet aroma, with a pleasant powdery iris. Don’t expect spectacular performance for the price, but the longevity is decent and the trail is soft. Perfect for after a bath or going for a walk without complications. Use it during the day, in any season; due to its softness, it’s not very nocturnal. Ideal for dressing up at home without fuss. If you’re looking for power and longevity, don’t come near it.

  • I agree with Darkbeat on longevity: I bought it fresh from the bottle and use it when I’m at home and in the mood. It has a very light sillage, but for an hour and a half it’s perfectly noticeable. Perhaps it won’t last as long out on the street, but for wandering around the house in pyjamas, it’s the perfect fit.

I paid €10 for it at the supermarket and I don’t think you could ask for more for that money, but by no means does it seem like an unpleasant fragrance as the previous comments suggest.

  • I agree with Darkbeat on the longevity: I bought it straight out and wear it at home when I fancy lounging in pyjamas. The trail is light, but I can still detect it well after an hour and a half. Outdoors, it fades sooner, but for walking around the house, it does the job perfectly.

  • Hands down the best eau from this VyL line. It achieves a remarkably close likeness to Dior Homme at a knock-down price of under €10. It’s true it doesn’t last all day, but you get a huge 150ml bottle to over-spray in beast mode or use as a shower gel. Totally recommended; it has unbeatable value for money.

  • Hello! Citrus opening, spicy with plenty of iris. I’m not sure if it’s the iris, the vetiver, or my nose, but I detect a iodine-like scent as Spartaco mentioned. I hate it at first and it causes immediate rejection, but if I persevere until it settles, it improves massively. That iodine sensation disappears, the iris becomes woody and slightly sweet. Over time, a chocolatey aftertaste emerges, which, along with the spices and woods, makes it very pleasant. Sometimes I hate it and other times I like it; I don’t love the opening, but for the price and the dry-down, it’s worth it. It’s an eau de toilette, so don’t expect eight hours, but for under €10 for 150ml, there’s no need to complain. It lasts about six hours with a soft trail of half a metre for the first hour, then skin scent. Due to its softness, it suits any season, though avoid nights as it fades easily. Ideal after a shower or for staying in. If the opening doesn’t suit you, the dry-down will certainly surprise you. If, like me, you can’t bear the first few minutes, you might look for another option, but it might surprise you. For more reviews, follow me on Instagram (JL_Perfumado) or YouTube (Perfúmate Con JL).

  • Hello! It opens with a citrus and spicy note with plenty of iris, but be warned: it smells of iodine to me, just as Spartacus says, and initially gives me pause. However, if you stick with it until it settles, it changes radically; the iodine fades, the iris becomes woodier and sweeter, and over time it evolves into chocolate with spices and woods. It’s not my favourite perfume because of that opening, but for under €10 in a 150ml bottle, the value for money is brilliant. It lasts around six hours with a soft sillage, ideal for home or post-shower. If you like the dry-down, it’s worth trying.

  • With all due respect to those who like this scent… it’s a complete miss. It smells like makeup cream and lipstick; a scent I’d love to smell on a woman, but for a man, it’s an insult. I can tolerate unisex colognes because there are good ones, but here they’re selling a totally feminine essence as if it were masculine. PS: I bought it blind because there were no testers, a serious mistake I won’t repeat. Now my neighbour is enjoying it, and in her own words: ‘How did you get confused and buy a women’s cologne?’. That said it all.

It’s a truly fantastic EDT for those who appreciate fragrances; its evolution is perfect, addictive, and unisex. It doesn’t have great longevity, but it can be reapplied, and for the price, you can’t ask for more. Congratulations to Victorio and Lucchino for that great work: a perfume for any season, day, or night. One hour of projection and five hours of longevity. Super happy with this EDT, woody and slightly spiced, a 10.

A fantastic EDT, for those who appreciate fragrances, I know what I mean. Perfect evolution, addictive and unisex. It’s not long-lasting but you can reapply, and for the price, you can’t ask for more. Congratulations to Vittorio and Lucchino on that masterpiece. A perfume for any season, day or night. Projection for an hour, duration five hours. Super happy with this woody and slightly spicy EDT. A 10.

  • Grapefruit and iris stand out. It feels powdery, warm, heavy but pleasant, and sweet. I would wear it, but most people I asked said they didn’t like it much. I think it suits men of any age, but for a calm atmosphere, family dinner, or friends, yes; not for parties or dates. Longevity and trail are quite good.

  • Grapefruit and iris stand out, but it feels quite powdery, warm and heavy, though sweet and pleasant. I’d wear it, but most people I’ve asked simply can’t stand it. I think it suits any man for quiet dinners or elegant events, but it doesn’t work for parties or dates. Longevity and trail are decent.

Incredible. The original Dior Homme is one of my favourites; its copy was Valentino Uomo, sweeter, perhaps too much. If you remove the cocoa from Dior and add more citrus and fresh mint, you get this number 3 from Vittorio and Lucchino. 94% natural ingredients, for those who, looking at the price and not the liquid, say it’s synthetic or alcoholic. None of that. It will delight iris lovers and those who find Dior or Valentino too dense, because that citrus and less sweetness make it very wearable even in heat, provided it’s not excessive. Moderate projection for two hours at a metre and a half, lasting up to five hours. Nothing to worry about: 150ml at €10 gives you enough to reapply every three hours and continue enjoying a summery Dior Homme that smells like angels.

  • Carcanuelo

Replying to Eunuco: I loved it. In my collection of 200 perfumes, there are things he couldn’t buy with three paychecks. Telling us ‘cheap shoppers’ defines him, not us. This bargain projects more than Roja Dove’s Haute Luxe; I know because I own both. Its longevity is on par with Acqua di Parma’s cologne or Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino, niche by price. Sir Eunuco, stop making a fool of yourself and stop pretending to be what you’re not.

December 2022, just as summer began in Uruguay with 25-30°C, reflection: take internet comments with a pinch of salt. I’ve seen everything about this fragrance: that it’s just water, that it lasts ten minutes, that it smells of iodine, that you have to stay away from people for twenty minutes after applying it. Nothing could be further from the truth. On my skin, which is hyper-dry and where perfumes usually don’t last, it lasted more than six hours, until I went to bed, projecting with a moderate trail for the first hour. The aroma is very rich and moves away from the norm; while it recalls Dior Homme, I’d say it’s only a reminiscence. Iris is perceived, though not as present, leaning more towards the style of Zara NPH III but with more prominent cardamom and citrus, which makes it feel less like lipstick. I use it for the office and formal attire; it comes from luxury, totally recommended.

December 2022, just summer in Uruguay, 25-30 degrees. Reflection: take internet comments with a pinch of salt. I’ve seen everything: lasting 10 minutes, smelling of iodine, needing to stay 20 metres away. Nothing like my reality. On my hyper-dry skin where nothing lasts, it lasted over six hours until I went to bed, with a moderate trail for the first hour. Rich and different aroma. If it reminds you of Dior Homme, it’s just a faint echo. You can detect iris, but less so, leaning towards Zara NPH III with more prominent cardamom and citrus, less lipstick-like. I use it in the office and for formal occasions; it comes from luxury, totally recommended.

Fresh and aromatic opening due to the combination of citrus and mint. That refreshing and mentholated beginning fades quickly, and iris takes over with dominance, standing out from almost the start until the end with a sweet, floral, and powdery accord. Accompanied by cardamom and ginger, later the spicy notes give way to vetiver, which plays an important role with an earthy accord alongside the superb iris which does not yield. In the dry-down phase, everything merges and finishes with a woody and resinous touch thanks to cedar and benzoin. Personally, it’s a fragrance for everyday life, quite unisex, performs more than expected, and leaves nothing to be desired for the low cost.

Fresh and aromatic opening with citrus and mint. That freshness fades and iris takes over with dominance from almost the start to the end, sweet, floral, and powdery. Accompanied by cardamom and ginger. Then the spicy notes yield to vetiver, which adds an earthy touch alongside the iris that doesn’t fade. In the dry down, all the notes blend together and it closes with cedar and benzoin, woody and resinous. For me, it’s for everyday wear, unisex, performs better than expected, and at the low cost, there’s nothing to complain about.

  • I found it in the wardrobe after two years. I’d forgotten about it, and upon re-testing, I don’t know if it’s due to maceration or because I didn’t like it the day before. Perhaps it reminded me of Hugo Boss The Scent Elixir, which is sublime. Strange that no one compares them; they’re on the same line. It also reminds me of the now-discontinued Zara 9.0. It’s spicy with woody notes, very long-lasting with a good trail. For the price, it’s stellar; it doesn’t hurt to spend. 8-10, but given the price, I’d give it 9-10.

I read the previous comment and tried the ‘Magnetic Seduction’ I’d been saving for a year because it was too weak. Surprise! It has mellowed and smells fantastic, with more body and longevity. I sprayed it twice at 2pm and it was still detectable past 10pm. It’s the dupe for Dior Homme.

Smells nice, but it vanishes in a breath. There’s nothing left on clothes or even with a heavier application.
