  • Smells very similar to Marly’s Greenley Parfums, but with a softer trail; longevity is moderate. The scent is incredible, though in terms of quality, projection, and longevity, I still prefer the original Marly.

  • Marcus_001

I’ve just smelled it and this ‘rebirth’ isn’t what I expected. Anyway, the dry-down is what I like most. I’ll give it another chance as the season progresses.

  • Dmarquez01

I tested it twice in the perfumery and on my skin, it results in being too ‘gritty’. That intense aroma overwhelms me. As it dries, it smells good, but the first two hours… what a bother! It’s not a beast in projection, but on my skin, it performs like this. Surely some component goes to infinity due to my pH and smells chemical.

  • I smelled it today; I perceive quite a bit of sandalwood and lotus flower. In one phase, it reminded me of a Bvlgari women’s perfume by Morillas, Omnia Cristalline. Rain Essence feels more masculine, although it would suit a woman too. It’s light, fresh, clean, ethereal, and quite linear. The late dry-down is a mainstream sandalwood that I’ve heard many times before. Cheers.

Exquisite opening of bitter orange blossom and green notes… as it settles with the musk and wood, I didn’t notice the amber much. Very rich for casual outings in summer or spring. Pity it doesn’t last, a maximum of 3 hours. Perhaps due to the musk, if you overspray it causes olfactory fatigue and you stop smelling it in your surroundings.

Bvlgari Man Rain Essence is citrusy, green, and musky. The opening is sharp and fresh. After 5 minutes, it turns almost cactus-like green due to the green tea, and then stays that way. It brings reminiscences of Pour Homme 1996, but simpler. Ideal for daily wear, the office, or casual outings. Probably more favoured by mature people than by young ones. Performance is regular, up to 6-7 hours but projection is skin-close. Recommend it if you’re seeking nostalgia for the old Pour Homme, although they aren’t the same and this is simpler.

Bvlgari Man Rain Essence is citrusy, green, and musky. It starts fresh and crisp, but after five minutes it turns green, almost cactus-like due to the green tea, and then remains unchanged. It recalls Bvlgari Pour Homme but in a simpler form. Being fresh and green, it is ideal for daily wear, in the office, or for casual outings. I think it suits mature people more than young ones. Performance is average, lasting around six or seven hours but with weak projection. I recommend it if you miss the 1996 Bvlgari Pour Homme, though be aware they are not identical and this is simpler.

  • It doesn’t remind me of rain, but it didn’t disgust me either (assuming we’re not paying absurd prices). I tested it without seeing the pyramid and thought of juniper, with a pleasant, slightly boozy masculine touch and a woody base. As it dries, the amber makes it sweeter. The pyramid mentioned tea and threw me off, although a certain green touch could be there. It’s a fulfilling, pleasant perfume, without pretensions. I recommend it at 40% of its price.

I wore it to work today. Clean aroma, nothing more. Perhaps of a more mature cut. I applied it at 9 am and can still detect it after nearly 7 hours; I don’t understand the complaints about its longevity. The good thing is that it’s one of the few where the notes are distinguishable. Totally passable, 6/10.

Tested alongside Glacial, this one has worse performance in projection and longevity. It opens incredibly clean, soft, fresh, and soapy-floral; nothing novel but of medium-to-high quality. It evokes someone freshly showered in an elegant-relaxed context. In the dry-down, it’s floral-green with supporting woods. It reminds me of that feeling of rain in spring/summer that refreshes and renews. Yes, the longevity is standard and the projection is borderline poor. But the spray I made over 24 hours ago can still be smelled from a metre away; ideal for discreet indoor use. Forget it for outdoors. In Mexico, it costs nearly $170, which is too much for a non-disruptive scent. It’s not youthful, more rather serious-elegant for the 30-35 age range.

  • svazquez7

Rain Essence smells clean and delicate, but frankly, it’s dispensable. The florals are weak and the musk doesn’t stand out; it’s correct but lacks nuance and punch. There are better options for smelling good in the office; this one from Bvlgari leaves no impression on me.

  • A fragrance for everyday wear. Clean and fresh, yet without that soapy detergent sensation. Initially, it might be a bit intense with the tea opening, but by the hour, the orange and amber notes become prominent, making it warmer. Furthermore, quality is evident, as the notes are very natural and not synthetic. In my case, projection isn’t very intense, but it acts like a second skin for 5-6 hours.

  • eduardofragancia45

To be honest, you will find yourself liking it more each day. At first, it wasn’t quite what I expected from a rain fragrance, but that tea and musk accord gives a wonderful sensation. It is fresh and clean, perfect for work, everyday wear, or even dining out on a sunny day. Projection is moderate but more noticeable in the trail. It lasts about six hours with five sprays. If you enjoy florals, you will love it for the water lily. It remains stable with the tea and flower, though it finishes with a sweet, pleasant touch thanks to the amber. Recommended for hot days to simulate that summer rain humidity.

  • eduardofragancia45

To be honest, you’ll find you like it more and more with each passing day. At first, it wasn’t the scent I expected, as it’s supposed to represent rain, but it has that tea and musk note that gives a pleasant sensation. It’s fresh and clean, suitable for any situation: work, daily wear, or a sunny day. Projection is moderate but has more presence in the trail. Longevity is around 6 hours with 5 sprays. If you enjoy florals, you’ll love it for the water lily. It remains stable with green tea and water lily, but in the final hours, it takes on a sweet and pleasant aroma thanks to the amber. Recommended for hot days to simulate that summer rain humidity.

  • A fragrance of high quality, smells wonderful and fresh, a real treat that compels you to keep smelling it. The drawback is that its projection is almost non-existent and longevity is very scarce.

  • The citrus doesn’t last long, leaving behind notes of wood, flower, and above all, tea. I liked it; I don’t understand why its name relates to rain given how much it smells of tea, though I imagine it could smell like this in European fields after a shower. It’s rich and relaxing, ideal for a stressful workday. I don’t understand why others find moderate longevity; for me, it lasts 8 hours or more, and perhaps up to 10 hours if sniffed from very close. I perceive high quality, perhaps due to it being a perfume concentration.

  • What a beautiful aroma. The tea note is present in every sense, making it a truly green fragrance. Projection is not its strong suit, but it performs well on the skin for four or five hours. Of the entire Bvlgari Man line, this ranks in my top three. It has a slight resemblance to Bvlgari Pour Homme but is much more modern. For my nose, it is very linear, as the musk and green tea remain almost throughout the wear. 9/10.

  • What a beautiful scent. The tea note is present in every sense, so for me, it belongs to the green family. Projection isn’t its strongest point, but on skin it holds up for around 4-5 hours. Of the entire Bvlgari Man line, this would be in my top 3. It has a slight resemblance to Bvlgari Pour Homme but is much more modern. It’s very linear to my nose, as the musk and green tea remain almost throughout. 9/10.

Alberto Morillas gifts us his magic once more: a modern, elegant, masculine fougère that is classic yet contemporary, with the quality of notes we’ve come to expect from Bvlgari. An exquisite aroma for refined noses with their own discernment.

  • ariel.edp

In my case, the dry-down and longevity were exceptional; it clings to clothes. Some might find it similar to Loewe Solo Atlas; I see them as very alike.

  • BarahonaJR

Alberto Morillas demonstrates his mastery once again. It’s now my signature fragrance. I’m fascinated by the dry-down, which smells of dry cedar from southern Mexico. Projection and longevity have been excellent. I don’t know what I like more: the scent or how it makes me feel.

  • Wilson Manolito

It is a very tranquil, cosy, and friendly fragrance. I believe it can be worn in heat and temperate climates. Longevity is moderate, and although it does not smell exactly of rain, it is very relaxing to wear.

  • BarahonaJR

Alberto Morillas demonstrates his mastery once again. I have already made it my signature scent. I am fascinated by the dry-down, which reminds me of dry cedarwood from southern Mexico. Personally, the projection and longevity have seemed excellent. I cannot decide what I like more: the scent itself or how it makes me feel.

  • Mr. Baskerville

It didn’t quite convince me. The scent isn’t bad, with a good opening and development featuring a moderate citrus touch and a herbal musk note reminiscent of herbal tea rather than green tea. Those who love guaiac wood will adore it. The issue is performance: short longevity and very timid projection. The price-to-quality ratio is poor; it promises pleasure but fades quickly, like a delicious burger that lasts only three bites. Worth a try, but perhaps not a purchase.

  • Wilson Manolito

Calm and cosy, perfect for heat or mild climates. Medium longevity and very relaxing; although it doesn’t smell of rain, it’s ideal for switching off.

  • Sir Morillas, with respect for your great work, I must say that either you do something about the longevity and fixation or the European industry will disappear devoured by the Arab one. It is intolerable to pay these prices for round fragrances with Lidl cologne performance. You commit a grave error: young people receive the message that investing in perfume does not imply quality. Quality is not just the fragrance. If after 2 or 3 hours you smell nothing, there is no need for perfume, especially at these prices. You are chemists, engineers, and artists; solve the technical problems. Or if you have forbidden ingredients, do you not know how to make perfumes anymore? It is as if by leaving the stone, the builders returned to tightrope walks. Study, work, and solve this or you will ruin European perfumery. Best regards. Perfume: very beautiful, excellent aroma, zero sillage, scarce longevity. Dispensable because it does not do the job it should. There are infinitely better alternatives at this price.

  • I tried it in the perfumery and I felt everything on my skin as cedar, surely due to the guaiac wood. I sprayed it twice on my left arm and it lasted 1.5 hours. It is totally an Eau de Toilette; fresh at the start but it doesn’t remind me of an afternoon under the rain. For me, I find this scent in other perfumes like L’eau d’Issey Homme Eau Cedre and it hasn’t been a great experience for my nose, although I am a fan of Mr Morillas.

  • constantin17

Let’s be clear: I applied the cologne 4 days ago and it is still on my clothes. Those who complain about durability lack finesse. The perfume is unique; I hadn’t found one I liked in over 5 years. I am someone who finds it hard to choose, but I loved this the moment I smelled it; it made me smile. After hours, the scent is even better. It is subtle, intense, it makes you fall in love. As for durability? I don’t know what those who say it doesn’t last are referring to. Look at the work behind making this perfume unique. Appreciate it, enjoy it. The rest is just words.

An elegant and refreshing surprise. It stands apart from typical ‘blue’ perfumes. Bvlgari Man Rain Essence offers elegant freshness, well-made minimalism, and an aquatic personality without clichés. The opening is vibrant but brief, with orange and green tea giving way to the white water lily, the star of the show. It brings a crystal clear, wet, and clean sensation, perfect for the day in warm climates. The dry down is soft and refined, with a base of guaiac wood that gives it a warm, almost creamy touch, without losing freshness. It is not intense nor has great projection, which is a weakness but gives it versatility and discretion. The solution is to reapply without fear. The best thing is its originality. In a sea of Dior Sauvage or Bleu de Chanel copies, this is an authentic breath of fresh air. It doesn’t shout, it simply shines by being different. Rating: 9.5/10. It lacks longevity, but it compensates with personality and unique freshness. A summer gem that is worth it.

  • Josué González Céspedes

Elegance and prestige is what this fragrance shouts; it smells delicious, very citrusy but with class.

  • I was smelling everything in the perfumery looking for my next fragrance and stumbled upon this authentic surprise. It was like a breath of fresh air among identical perfumes. It has a simple, minimalist, and different aroma; it doesn’t shout but stands out for its singularity. Some say it smells of rain, and although I don’t perceive it entirely, it is a good description: discreet and unique. It may please or not, but it has its own identity. I don’t know if I like it yet as I was saturated and it mixed with another scent, but I plan to try it properly on my skin again. I imagine it as introspective, with personality, and seductive at close range.

  • It reminds me of CK One but less musky with a touch of wet earth, and here I do note the orange. It is pleasant; it isn’t exactly my olfactory style but I don’t dislike it; it has that tendency to smell like skin cream, but with more identifiable notes.

  • JohnLecter86

Another gem from Master Morillas: super elegant and fresh. The musk in the heart is perfect, along with the woody and amber notes, a total success. It is elegant, fresh, and its longevity is brutal for a fresh scent; it lasts me about 8 hours. It is totally worth it, buy blind.

  • I absolutely love the BVLGARI MAN range for a change; this one smells fresh with a sparkling opening of green tea and citrus which is the best part, although it doesn’t last long. It then leaves you in a personal bubble with musky notes and a very subtle sweet touch, making it very cosy. It would be a wonder if it had more projection and longevity.

  • I was looking for something that evoked rain, and although it isn’t pure petrichor, it delivers perfectly. I have fresh tastes and dislike sweetness, and for me, this is the definitive fragrance, ideal for my very hot country. It gives me a serotonin boost the moment it enters my nose; few scents do this to me. Due to its freshness, personality, and lightness, it has become my favourite fragrance of all time.
