Gelsomino and I fell in love at first sight. In Florence, at the San Maria Novella Pharmacy, I spotted it and spent a lovely time sniffing the glass bell with the cotton soaked inside… I needed it. I’m not an expert and don’t have a particularly gifted sense of smell, but my verdict is clear: it smells 100% of night-blooming jasmine, period! It’s like squeezing those flowers between your palms, simple, straightforward and beautiful… that’s why I adore it. The only drawback is the price… but on my skin it lasts around 8 hours. I wouldn’t keep it on my dressing table just because of the cost, but if my budget allows, I’d buy it again.
