It starts fresh and balsamic with great longevity; then the flowers blend with a potent yet non-aggressive moss. Mmm… I love it. Note: I don’t detect any fruity notes at all. To me, it’s more of a floral chypre than a fruity chypre.
The absolute crack of all the perfumes I’ve tried. What a pity I can’t get my hands on one. I’m from Argentina, so if anyone has one to sell, please let me know.
I have two units to sell =) in case anyone is interested. It’s a blend that I’m so in love with that I kept one Mitsouko19 for myself, so here they are.
I have two to sell =) in case anyone is interested. It is a combination of notes that also captivates me. I kept one Mitsouko 19, which is why I have it.
Hello pinupdoll87, where are you from? Argentina?
Opulence, sophistication and pure elegance. Imagine Joan Collins on the set of Dynasty wearing this fragrance. Gem is the 1980s in their purest form, yet it breaks the typical rose-chypre with leather mould of that era. It stands out for its complexity, leaning towards a more animalic side, with doses of civet, fruity and vanilla accords, with hints of amber and soft spices (at first, cypress, coriander and patchouli are more prominent). Many compare it to Poison; although they are similar, Poison leans more towards incense, red fruits, intense plum and a glimmer of honey. Gem is more vanilla-forward; the plum is there but does not dominate because it competes with the peach, without forgetting the civet. Entering the world of Gem is discovering a fragrance that makes a difference, worthy for a woman who appreciates her aesthetics and lives them with fullness. In return, it offers a glamour that no longer exists today. Here are fragrances that get lost in time; with Gem, I understand why there are jewels that stopped being made, preferring not to reformulate or be crushed like their contemporaries. They prefer to be eternal in their original formula, the one that made them worthy, in a place where no association restricts their notes and they are received by those who know what they have. Nothing more; with this fragrance, you feel surrounded by luxury.
