Amor Vero: I haven’t fallen in love at first sight for a while, but I kept this sample and always saved it for last. Words fail to describe my emotion, but I’ll try since there are no reviews for this beauty. Wearing it feels like uniting past and present, feeling hope for the future; it’s smelling love, the classic, the true, the refined and good-tasting, art itself. It starts citrusy, nothing sharp or annoying, and quickly the flowers enter (narcissus is the star) with a vanilla note and sweetened with amber, a delight. Amor Vero is voluptuous and luxurious; it reminds me of Knowing by Estée Lauder or Paloma Picasso; I’m not saying they’re similar, but the style is, though much more wearable. It lasts quite a while on the skin, with a moderate trail that I consider convenient.
