Van Cleef & Arpels was born in 1906 as a high jewellery and watchmaking house. The perfumery retains that connection with precious materials and craftsmanship, but is presented in a catalogue separate from that of the jewels. The house divides its fragrances into Collection Extraordinaire, First and Les Classiques.
Collection Extraordinaire was created in 2009 and brings together compositions centred on perfumery ingredients such as patchouli, amber or neroli. First belongs to the classic part of the catalogue and serves as a historical reference. The current offer combines that collection of ingredients with lines that keep the oldest names of the maison.
