More suited for scenting a room than wearing on the skin; it literally smells like fabulous lemon with woods. Not my personal favourite, but perfect for making a house smell clean and rich.
In short, it’s my seasonal fragrance. Highly recommended for its quality ingredients, minimalist and with that Mexican heart that gives it identity.
It reminds me of Calvin Klein One, same essence but less complicated. It’s rich, citrusy, fresh with a woody touch, perfect for everyday wear and hot weather. The longevity is inconsistent: on sunny days it activates beautifully on the skin, but other days it performs very little. The original CK One no longer has those citrus notes and smells like a floral musk, so I keep coming back to this for that sharp yet gentle freshness, better than bitter or sweet options like Issey Miyake. If the performance were consistent, it would be ideal for cologne blends, but it only truly shines in pure heat. I prefer Adolfo Domínguez’s Citrus Cedro for its evolution and masculinity, or El Ganso’s Limoncello Season for that sweeter lemon note.
