The fragrance that does not ask for permission. There are perfumes that force you to pay attention, and this is one of them. From the very first second, King Bharara impacts with a fresh citrus spark that fades quickly, like a curtain opening to reveal the real show: a juicy mix of clean and elegant fruits, without falling into childishness or cloying sweetness. It does not smell like bubblegum or sweets; it smells of presence, of security, of someone who enters and leaves a mark without saying a word. In the final phase, it wins in depth with creamy vanilla, subtle yet enveloping, rounding off the experience with an air of sophistication and addiction. It achieves an almost perfect balance between fresh and sweet, casual and refined. For me, it is ideal for cold climates or events where you want to project power and distinction. For an intimate date, it may be too much, and that says a lot. Intense liquid; a couple of sprays are enough to make yourself noticed. Rating to the moon. My score: 9.5/10.

The king of Arabic perfumes, and if anyone says it does not project on their skin, they should check with a doctor, they must have some problem and do not realise it. As I read, it is a perfume that does not ask for permission. Strong and imposing trail; nowadays, you will have smelled someone wearing it, yes or yes. The number of people you encounter in a week wearing it is something to study. I recommend it more for autumn/winter, fresh or rainy days. In summer, it reaches a point where it even makes me feel sick. It is masculine; the vanilla, fruity and citrus notes create an explosion of unique aromas, very attractive. Conclusion: a perfume you must have in your collection.

If you like sweet aromas for winter, go ahead and try a decant; I bought 10ml and enjoyed it to the fullest, I will definitely buy the 100ml or even 200ml if I find a good price. I describe it as addictive and relaxing. Quite unisex, I would say.

  • Disappointment. I tried it in a store and the opening was wonderful; it would probably have been my favourite if it had stayed that way, but once it dries, oh my god, it stinks. It is nuclear and fills rooms. I like vanillas but I cannot stand it. It smells good but I dislike it entirely; it is very strong. I do not recommend it for offices; you will bore your colleagues. I speak from experience: if you like it, apply a maximum of 3 sprays; with that, you are more than covered, lasting a minimum of 8 to 10 hours.

After reading a lot, I realised: you either love Bharara King or you hate it. There is no middle ground. Some trash it and others elevate it as the best Erba Pura dupe, leaning masculine. I offer another opinion: not from the wearer’s perspective, but from the person smelling it. We bought it half-and-half with my brother a few months ago. It was for him, but we researched together and it closed as ideal for autumn/winter and evening dates. It is a fruity bomb. In Argentina, for New Year’s parties, a fruit cocktail (orange, apple, banana, strawberry, kiwi, melon) is typical, and that is the scent on the first spray. Powerful sweetness, slightly citrusy, very juicy. At first, it feels unisex, leaning feminine, bringing me back memories of a feminine fragrance from the past. Over time, it changes completely: it becomes creamy, vanilla, woody and musky. That is the 180-degree turn, and it feels masculine, very manly. My brother wore it 24/7 to test it, but it is for INFORMAL OUTINGS, DATES AND FRESH NIGHTS. Avoid it in summer; it can be invasive and suffocating. Every time he passes by (we live together), he leaves a tremendous trail: sweet, woody, dry, clean. Very ‘masculine presence’. The best part: the longevity is beastly. It lingers on clothes for days, smelling of Bharara King even if he hasn’t worn it for a week. The scent is exquisite, one of my favourites. It is one of those that, even without the person there, leaves their identity floating. An aroma that makes you turn your head and say: ‘che, who was here?’. If you value leaving a good impression without speaking, this fragrance does it for you.

  • Rating: 8/10. Frequency: Semi-daily or casual, not always because the sweetness can become tiring. Climate: Any time; in the cold it feels more ‘alive’ and ‘grand’, in heat it smells good without being annoying. Usage: For whatever you want; work, date, casual. Scent: Fresh fruity vanilla sweetness. Quality: Amouage would be 10/10, Bharara King is 5/10, below many designers but it does not smell bad. Risky?: No, but not indifferent either; it is not a challenging niche nor a generic designer scent. Amouage is expensive high-quality chocolate, Bharara is supermarket chocolate imitation that pleases and makes you have a good time.

One of my favourites for men. If you want to catch a woman’s attention, buy it. It lasts a fortune and is noticeable from metres away. Very delicious; if I were a man, I would wear it in summer or spring due to the tropical vibes (fruity notes). 10/10.

  • Top fragrance. If you enjoy sweet and vanilla scents, you will absolutely love this. The quality is impeccable. Obviously, those who own Xerjoff Erba Pura may have ‘issues’ with clones, but this is identical. Bharara King is MUCH more masculine than Erba Pura or Amber Oud Gold, which are quite feminine. The longevity is incredible and the projection is overwhelming. The opening is potent (brutal in Eau Parfum, excellent in Parfum), but in the Parfum version, the opening and scent are spectacular with even better longevity. It is a youthful aroma, not for formal occasions, but for parties and fashion. In the air, Parfum and the regular version are similar, but on skin, the Parfum improves significantly in the opening and mid-life, feeling more refined. The opening lasts a short while in any perfume; what counts is the dry-down. The sad thing is that the Parfum (wooden box, pressurised spray) is already discontinued on the official website and Fragantica never released it, so it probably won’t be made again, though stock should exist. Wait for Bharara King Soleil, which would replace it.

  • Projects and lasts like few others. Do not overapply or apply to areas that will touch your face. Better suited to cold weather. Not for everyone, test first. I am not well acquainted with the opening. However, the dry-down feels very artificial and synthetic to me, sharp, lacking sweetness, I suppose it is the musk. I am genuinely bothered by it and can tell immediately who is wearing it.

  • FernandoGastonLeiva

I love it. I tried it in a decant and did not hesitate to buy it. Extraordinary quality and performance. Projects like few others. A super-powerful sweet charm from every angle. My favourite of 2025.

  • Gentil vagabond

Excellent perfume with an appreciable balance, a clone of Erba Pura… I don’t find it as invasive as others; this is more wearable and complimentary. I consider it an elegant and long-lasting perfume.

  • Excellent fragrance, the cost-to-quality ratio is very good. However, I have an issue with the notes: I detect herbal tones, but the brand declares none. In fact, I feel it shares that masculine mid-note that helps with projection. Sometimes I think it could be a patchouli variety, but I’m not sure. I believe that’s what gives the perfume body, along with the fruity notes.

  • Citrus opening that doesn’t last long, giving way to a fruity tone that doesn’t become cloying. As it dries down, a creamy, musky vanilla appears, adding warmth and softening the ensemble. At first, I thought it was quite unisex, but with wear, I perceive it as more masculine. It’s a characterful perfume, potent in longevity and projection. On my skin, it easily reaches eight hours with a notable trail. It has an addictive scent and is, without a doubt, one of the fragrances that has given me the most compliments. Rating 8.5.

  • Listen, what about longevity? Seriously, how can the Amber Oud Gold Edition project and last longer than the Bharara King, which claims to be a bomb? Will it cause olfactory fatigue? Setting that aside, I love it. Although it’s not marketed as unisex, I’m a woman and I wear it, and I’m certainly not alone. It’s overwhelmingly sweet, and perhaps I’ll get crucified for making a fuss about the sweet bomb, but I layer it with the Amber Oud to make it ‘stick’ and last all day. I feel the Bharara is a beast when my father wears it in summer; with the heat, it lifts, but on me? It evaporates or my skin seems to devour the perfume. But anyway, sweet to death. If you don’t like sweets, stay away. It feels very appealing to the younger crowd. So you, sweet-addicted, vanilla-fruity man, buy it if you want compliments, because it’s appealing to people.

  • I have the Parfum version, the most intense in the line. It’s definitely a beast mode, a pleasant fruity bomb, though it can be a bit overwhelming in its longevity, so don’t apply too many sprays and treat it with respect. But it’s very well crafted.

  • Belenperfumada

Actually, I have the Bharara King Parfum. They are quite similar, but the Parfum is supposed to be much more concentrated. I tested the King in a perfumerie; I liked it but it didn’t knock me out, and I felt it was very masculine. However, a few days ago I tested the Parfum in another perfumerie and fell in love at first sniff. They sprayed it on my clothes and it still smells 48 hours later. I rushed to buy it. Its notes are a mystery; they aren’t on Fragrantica or the Bharara website, but you can definitely smell the sandalwood, the fruits, and something deeper in the background that I can’t quite decipher. It seems much more balanced than the King and more unisex. It’s perfect for all year round. I hope they add it to Fragrantica soon.

  • Good perfume, very trendy and popular in Argentina since the Joaqui video about the Xerjoff Erba Pura went viral. It’s rich, gets compliments, and lasts a long time. I haven’t tried the Xerjoff, but it’s surely of higher quality and worth three or four times more. The problem is many people use it due to the popularity of that scent, just like the Al Haramain Gold Edition. It’s good and women like it. It’s something to have in your collection, whichever you choose: original or a good dupe.

  • It’s the best of the ‘Arab fashion’ (although I saw it’s from the USA). I adopt the words a YouTuber said about this perfume: ‘it pushes you a step forward, giving you an extra touch of confidence’. Phenomenal longevity; it soaks into your clothes and skin. I have a lot of affection for it.

  • Nicomandressi

A perfume that awakens passions; you either hate it or love it; personally, I love it, but in my house, they hate it. Longevity and projection are phenomenal. Once I sprayed it twice on my neck at 10 AM while at home, and at 11 PM, I passed near my sister and mother, who told me I had a terrible smell and that I’d sprayed something; I didn’t believe it, but it really is a beast. It feels very fruity and musky, with plenty of vanilla, like it’s 50% similar to Xerjoff’s Erba Pura but loaded with vanilla; personally, I don’t like Erba Pura at all, but I find this one very good. I find it difficult to find occasions to wear it; ideal for day or night in autumn, but definitely for outdoor events because it’s very invasive; if you have a closed event and want to wear it, don’t apply more than two sprays because it’s really too potent. It lasts a minimum of 14 hours. I see it as youthful, up to 30 years old. It has a lot of personality due to its potency, receiving compliments but also criticism for its intensity. Good price; personally, I recommend it, though I’m not sure sometimes what occasions to use it for.

  • I tested the decants first along with the Erba Pura dupe, and honestly, the Bharara appealed to me more. Its sweetness isn’t as prominent as the Xerjoff’s; here, the Erba’s fruits are more realistic and defined, whereas the Bharara is more linear. If you’re not an expert, your nose might hear them as identical, but believe me, the overall impression is vastly different. It’s surprising how similar they are, and I must say the King lasted longer than the niche version. Verdict: go for this one; it won’t disappoint.

  • Eleven hours on skin, straight out of the box. I work in a factory at high temperatures and fell asleep before it fully dried, so part of the fragrance stayed in bed. This is a beast. It still smells of skin. I wonder how much it will change in a month. All perfumes change with oxidation. I’m surprised.

  • I was eager to own this perfume, and when I finally could at a very good price, I didn’t hesitate twice to buy it. All the hype is well-deserved; that aroma captivates and is an irresistible attraction to anyone who smells it or passes by. What an exquisite scent and how wonderful you feel wearing it. The first day I wore it, someone asked what I was wearing and how good it smelled; that feeling you get is inexplicable, wow, ugh. To conclude, I want to say this perfume isn’t Arab or designer; it’s niche because it’s from the house Bharara, and Bharara only makes perfumes, nothing else, not accessories or clothing, which is explicitly stated when you search and investigate by tapping the brand icon. I don’t know why some social media reviewers make mistakes or speak from ignorance without knowing the facts for sure. Having said that, this is the most affordable niche perfume on the market; there isn’t another, and the ‘niche’ label is well-earned. It smells niche, refined, and more expensive than it actually costs. This perfume has no flaws; you will undoubtedly receive all kinds of compliments, the best you can imagine. If you don’t have it yet, don’t wait any longer; you must have it in your collection and use it every time you need to. If it runs out quickly, buy it again and do so for the rest of your life, because without a doubt, it’s one of the few perfumes worth buying when you run out. You’ll thank me later.

  • I bought it a few days after hearing about several Erba Pura dupes, including this one, and I can say it offers a more masculine focus compared to the others. The opening is very citrusy and quite aggressive with an aroma that isn’t entirely natural, but as it dries down, it transforms into the characteristic scent of its inspiration. In my opinion, it’s the best version available in terms of both price and suitability for men; it’s a beast when it comes to projection and longevity.

  • Montoya1209

An unbearably heavy and synthetic fragrance. TikTok has done irreversible damage to perfumery with its reviewers labelling it a jewel or ‘best dupe of Erba Pura’, nothing further from the truth. Here in Chile it’s worn by the ‘flaites’ or ‘pendejos’ as if it were the best perfume in the world and they end up overwhelming the place with a smell of pseudo Erba Pura. Totally unpleasant. I don’t understand the good rating it has. Surely they are people who rate a fragrance as good simply because it is unbearably strong and associate quality with longevity or projection.

  • I had the opportunity to try it on skin and heard all the good things the seller said. However, after giving it a whirl, it seemed to me a very crude and overly intense fragrance. At first it seemed pleasant, but over time it started to become overwhelming. I took a spray on a piece of paper from the shop which I keep in one of my cupboards; for at least a week, every time I opened the cupboard, the base scent hit me in the face. Personally, I prefer fragrances that are a bit more discreet and refined.

  • It’s a rich perfume with excellent projection and longevity. The issue is that most people in my area wear it at the wrong time. It can be scorching hot, and there’s always someone spraying 20 hits of Bharara King or an Erba Pura dupe; it gets annoying, but I admit the fragrance itself is very good.

  • A pleasant scent but very synthetic, people have even told me I smell like ‘car air freshener’ hahaha. Use an optimal amount, don’t overdo it and above all NOT ON SUNNY DAYS. Wear it in the evening and with moderation, it will leave a soft and easy-to-enjoy trail.

  • AdrianRuiz16

What a fantastic perfume! I was looking for something for a night out that was also versatile, and I found it excellent. It has personality, brutal longevity, and a sillage that fills the room. Use it in moderation. Very good; I’ve received plenty of compliments.

  • Does anyone remember the scent of Booba Loo? This fragrance keeps that fruity bubblegum note but in a seductive mode, or at least it tries to be. I feel the musk is very prominent, at least for me it smells like freshly laundered and ironed clothes; it’s not that musk is a bad smell, but it doesn’t stand out from cheap detergent, we call this shouty musk. With a touch of common vanilla, like the kind found in stronger, nothing elaborate. It’s fine in that part, a bit fresh but I wouldn’t wear it in the heat because it’s cloyingly sweet. Sometimes the sweetness makes me salivate, I don’t know why. It’s a somewhat misunderstood fragrance, perhaps layering it could yield something interesting, but for now this is to be used as a base.

  • A good perfume for the evening. As some say, it’s exceptional. It’s not quite that, but it is good.

  • Villefragance

Unbearable perfume, sweet and sour, repulsive, overused, synthetic and poor quality. It gives me a headache; don’t wear this in summer, it’s terrible!

  • Huge sillage and lasting power, but it gives me a slight skin itch. I also find it unpleasant to wear constantly; it’s not to my taste. Scent: 6.5/10, Price: 9/10, Longevity: 8.5/10.

  • Daniel Juárez

I don’t get the hype. It smells very synthetic, strong and aggressive, not easy to like. If this is what Erba Pura smells like, I would never buy it. The only thing I admire is that it’s the most ‘beast mode’ I’ve tried: over 12 hours longevity and projects for 6-7 hours. I don’t recommend it; I gifted it as some people enjoy that scent. Scent: 6/10, Longevity: 1000/10, Projection: 1000/10, Value: 7/10, Final score: 6/10.

  • A rich yet unusual scent, ideal for an outdoor winter day. I’ve sprayed it on three family members and it gives them headaches. It lasts forever until you decide to have a bath.

  • NAICO1342

I love the fruity notes; it was the one that got me the most compliments. It’s not very versatile; I’d wear it out at night or in warm weather, not in the heat as it feels suffocating. If you want a perfume that lasts and projects sweet fruity notes, this is it.

  • I bought this before Erba Pura and they are very similar, though I detect more vanilla here. It feels more masculine than the original. The longevity and projection are beastly, but I still prefer Erba Pura.

  • Chona Casta

Although I’ve finished the 100ml bottle, it lasts up to 12 hours with a projection of 3-4 hours. The scent is polarising: some love it, others don’t. It’s very intrusive, not suitable for everyday wear, enclosed spaces or hot weather. My advice: try Philos Pura, which is 99% similar to Erba Pura but more versatile due to its notes.

  • Total perfection: smells amazing, reminiscent of Erba Pura but with its own unique style. For the price, longevity and sillage, it’s a 10/10 purchase. It’s super unisex and the performance is outstanding, so don’t over-apply as it can become overpowering. I’ve finished my 150ml bottle and it’s one of my favourites. If you’re not into unisex scents, skip it.
