The declared notes don’t match what I smell, or at least I can’t identify them. It has touches of lavender and earthy vanilla. It’s not a bad perfume for the price, but it’s not beast mode as advertised. Nor is it a 1-to-1 clone of the BIR; it manages the bare minimum. Would I buy blind? Yes, because it’s easy to like. I have it in my collection, but would I repurchase when it runs out? Probably not; I’d look for other options, even the other flanker from Bharara/MastParfum that clones the Extradose.
Soft, fresh and aromatic. Up close, it smells mineral with sage and geranium, perhaps a touch of dry violet with a woody hint; I don’t detect the ginger. Lasts 6-7 hours on skin indoors, but only 3-4 outdoors (not in summer). The trail is strong for the first hour, with projection lasting 60-90 minutes indoors and 30-40 minutes outside in the wind. A rich scent, ideal for daily wear, dates, important meetings, the gym or the office. I don’t see it as suitable for autumn or winter; it feels a bit short-lived.
