It’s a spicy, dry, and aromatic fragrance that opens with citrus and tangerine peel with ginger, moving into a dry vetiver, something mature with a medicinal patchouli note. The performance is decent, nothing like the original Armani; this smells spicier and more acidic, which I like because it’s not an imitation. However, that dry, aromatic touch isn’t for me, being a fan of vanillas, resins, and exotic woods. I can see it for a classic man with a relaxed style who loves vetiver. Don’t buy blindly; the ginger changes significantly on the skin depending on pH, ending up spicy or wet. It’s a different fragrance.

It’s in the style of Terre d’Hermès but doesn’t smell the same; it has its own character. Woody citrus with a dry feel, as the previous review mentioned… you can definitely detect the DNA of the line in the dry down. Performance is average, around six hours; it works well in medium to high temperatures. Recommended, though that dry character might not suit everyone.
