I love it; it smells like those classic Massimo Dutti or Cacharel scents. The opening is brutal—powerful citrus that makes you want to run straight out. It doesn’t quite reach the madness of Monsieur Balmain, but that initial ‘slap’ is identical. Perfect for everyday wear: you feel active, comfortable, and manly. No pretensions, no surprises, but it does its job perfectly.

Some perfumes seem timeless but get discontinued due to sales or marketing reasons, like D&G Masculine. It’s citrusy, herbal, spicy, and woody. The opening is a Mediterranean citrus and herbal burst with green spices such as basil or mint, lasting only a few minutes. As it dries down, it becomes slightly musky but predominantly woody, featuring a fresh vetiver that gives it body. Without many twists, it stays green and woody. It’s versatile, suitable for all seasons and occasions. Longevity is moderate, around 6–7 hours, with a low sillage. It reminds me of Cartier Declaration but cleaner. If you can grab it cheaply, go for it, though it’s not worth a premium; a small bottle is enough to keep the memory alive.

There are perfumes that seem eternal and then disappear without warning, like D&G Masculine. It’s a citrus, herbal, and woody blend. It starts with that Mediterranean freshness of basil and mint that lingers for a while. As it dries down, it becomes woody with a clean vetiver that gives it body. It doesn’t have many twists; it stays green and woody. It’s super versatile: for everything, any time of year. It lasts about 6 or 7 hours with moderate sillage. It reminds me of Declaration by Cartier but cleaner. If you can get it cheap, buy it, although I settled for a mini which was enough to keep the memory alive.

It’s a citrus-woody scent with lots of orange blossom giving it a sweet touch. It’s no longer sold but can be found online at a good price. It was a game-changer when it launched, with well-balanced oily essences that made a huge splash among young people wanting to smell different. The Mediterranean orange blossom was exclusive and very loved. I bought it for evening wear and it had great seduction. Today it’s more for daytime, work, or around the house. You always smell different and people ask what you’re wearing. It was eclipsed by aquatic perfumes, but in circles of stylish men, it remains a good fragrance. Ambiguous, silky, and luminous. A historical jewel we miss.

My perfume of a lifetime; there’s nothing to compare it to. Simply fantastic, intoxicating, and timeless. I don’t know what D&G was thinking when they discontinued it; they had better things. The citrus opening and woody dry-down are a work of art. I’d give it 10/10 if it lasted longer and projected better, but with a 9 it deserves it, and in terms of scent, it’s a guaranteed 10.

I like this perfume more with every use. I got it last year in Bogotá thanks to a friend who sent another bottle for him. It arrived perfect, sealed, box and all intact. It’s a summer proposal, comforting and fresh, like those youthful Italian perfumes. Welcoming citrus, mint, basil, and some white flowers make it clean and harmonious, with vetiver and woods giving it strength. At first, I found it disappointing, generic, and very much of the 90s unisex trend… but NEVER judge a perfume by its first impression. You have to give it time. By the third time, I noticed its richness. It starts citrusy and oily, then a fine creaminess emerges with floral, herbal, and honeyed touches that make it different. Informal yet elegant. It smells like a lemon dessert. It’s like a middle ground between Dune Pour Homme and things like CK One or Paco Rabanne, but without the heavy Dior packaging and better made. It has its own charm. It’s transparent, easy to wear, can be unisex, but feels ‘Haute Couture’, elegant, and natural. If you can get it at a good price, try it calmly: you’ll be surprised how good it smells. Rating: 9.5/10.

It’s mainly summer and timeless. The first few minutes are almost explosive, a hit of spicy, fresh citrus that takes you from a grey season to a sunny Mediterranean. It has a subtly woody base, of good quality and slightly creamy. I love the contrast of the green and spicy notes, and the mint gives it an extra freshness boost. It’s still modern. If you find it at a good price, it’s an option you must have.

A fragrance discontinued stupidly. D&G Masculine doesn’t break any moulds, but once you wear it, you don’t want to smell anything else. Creamy citrus notes, devoid of acidity, blended with woods. It’s edible, like a simple homemade dessert, with the warmth of quick, fluffy, comforting cakes. Fresh and aromatic, it’s delicious on the skin and, days later on clothes, brings a smile to your face. Simply adorable.

One of those stupidly discontinued fragrances. D&G Masculine isn’t innovative, but once you wear it, you don’t want to smell anything else. The citrus is very creamy, without acidity, blended with woods. It smells like a simple, homemade dessert, like freshly baked fluffy cakes. It’s fresh, very aromatic, delicious on the skin, and makes you smile days later on clothes. Adorable.

D&G Masculine opens with citrus notes before settling into a musky base with herbal touches, slightly rubbery and acidic. It doesn’t innovate; it’s a modern classic with an updated formula that earned it fame and longevity. Thousands wept at its discontinuation—a genuine mistake by D&G. It smells like a citrus-aromatic confection, which is precisely why it was a hit and enjoys such hype in North America, even if the price is sometimes unjustifiable. I got mine by luck; if you see it cheap, don’t hesitate!

D&G Masculine opens with citrus that turns into musk with herbal highlights and strangely gummy, acidic tones. It doesn’t propose anything new; it’s a modern aroma based on classic citrus with a contemporary formula. Its longevity and projection gave it fame, and many people mourn its departure, certainly a mistake by D&G. It seems like a ‘Spicebomb’ citrus-aromatic scent, which is why it was a hit. Now it has a lot of reputation in North America (hype), which gives it an unjustified overvalue. I got it thanks to some friends. If you see it at a good price, don’t hesitate for a second.

It’s a all-lemon citrus scent, very sporty but at the same time very special. I want to get it back soooooooooooooooooo bad!
