Bleu by Bharara

Absolutely disgusting! Smells like pure camphor; I’m not sure if it’s Layton, but it’s rubbish.

I don’t know the Marly Layton, but this smells different from the typical marine blue freshness; it’s elegant and has presence.

It’s not bad, it smells nice, it’s fruity and then turns vanilla as it dries, but my son and wife noticed when we all tried it that it doesn’t last long and only projects well for about two hours. The drawback is the price in Argentina; it comes out as if it were two Arabic perfumes combined (like Detour Noir), and the scent isn’t innovative. I bought the 10ml bottle, good presentation and spray, but if the price doesn’t drop, I doubt I’ll buy a larger one, same with the Double Bleu.

Very pleasant; every Bharara fragrance I’ve tried hasn’t disappointed and encourages me to keep exploring their collection. I didn’t detect the citrus notes, but the vanilla and amber are very well worked to create a very masculine result. It certainly reminds me of Lournay’s Stefano, an exquisite and popular fragrance from the 90s. Regarding the similarity to Marly Layton, the Layton opening is brilliant and unique, far surpassing Bleu; however, in projection, longevity, and dry down, both are very similar. In terms of value for money, I still wonder if Bharara’s Bleu is enough.

I’d say it’s 95% identical to Layton; the only difference is the spicy menthol isn’t felt in the opening. I give it 9/10.

Just arrived, I haven’t smelled the Layton, but this smells delicious. The opening smells medicinal but pleasant, and when dry, it’s absolutely delicious. What I smell most is the exquisite wood; 10/10 for its price. I don’t know if it resembles Layton, but as a fragrance, it’s delicious.

I own the Layton and I’d say it’s quite close, about 90% in my opinion. It shares the opening with the mentholated and fruity notes, highlighting the green apple. When dry, you can notice the difference in quality, but given the price, it’s recommended. Longevity is 6-7 hours, with strong projection in the first two hours. I totally recommend buying it.

Well, well, well. What a surprise this Bahara house has given us with this Bleu. It’s a very good Layton clone and top quality for the price. For those who don’t know Layton, it’s a perfect balance between fresh and vanilla. Basically, it’s a rich, mentholated vanilla that opens fruity (more green apple than citrus), with cinnamon and a lavender that balances everything all over a creamy sandalwood base. A perfect scent. This clone isn’t far from the real thing. Excellent work by Bahara in giving us access to niche fragrances at a reasonable price. Recommended? Of course.

It’s a very citrusy perfume. Honestly, it doesn’t smell anything like Layton or its clones, not even a hint. This one is citrusy and sharp, ideal for hot weather. The skin projection is good, lasting about six hours with a strong initial sillage. Note: I’ve noticed my Bleu Pour Homme has changed its name and is now called Double Bleu. The one currently named Bleu is indeed a Layton clone, whereas the old Bleu (without Pour Homme) was the one that was similar.
