I was looking for something fresh and citrusy with good longevity and projection, and this is a beautiful find. It’s citrus with a hint of sweetness, and the salt is very noticeable, blending perfectly with the notes. It opens fresh, and as it dries down, you get the flowers and salt without losing the citrus. I see it as unisex, though on my skin it leans slightly feminine, which I love because I was initially scared off by reviews calling it more masculine. It reminds me of the Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Light Blue lines without being a dupe. I bought the 40ml and regretted it; I need the 120ml. 🥹🤌🏻
I’ve had this for a week and have a verdict for Perfumería: if you don’t like it at first, let it rest. In-store bottles are already oxygenated and smell great, but freshly opened ones sometimes don’t. With this Sea Salt, it smelled marine and coastal in the shop, but the opening at home was horrible, bitter, and heavy, almost giving me a headache. I left it on blotting paper, clothes, and in the air, shaking the bottle for several days, and now it smells delicious. The opening has soft citrus, bergamota dominates but isn’t annoying (I generally don’t like it), and the sage gives it a distinct touch. As it dries, the salt creates a lovely marine scent I know from living on the coast. It’s like having lemonade on the beach with strong wind and a distant smell. It lasts 6-7 hours, projects for 1-3 hours, and sometimes has bursts at the fourth hour. At the end, I notice wood and amber, which I like. My advice: shake the bottle several times a day to let air in; it improves by the third day. Longevity: 6-7h, Projection: 1-3h, Versatility: 5/10 (summer and spring, casual and semi-formal events).

Exquisite sea salt. I went for a walk with my wife, and a young couple passed by; she asked my wife about the perfume and said, ‘no, it’s my husband who wears it.’ I always get compliments when I wear it.
In the shop, the opening didn’t suit me, but it became pleasant. Once I’d bought it and had the bottle, well, they took the name literally: it’s heaps of salty water and dries like wet wood. A horror; every time I see the salt note, I think of this. I haven’t heard of Megamare, but I don’t think it beats this on salt; it’s too salty, and I think I was sent one that wasn’t macerated or was poorly mixed.
