Todos Santos by Perfumérica

I tested it over several days and it’s a straightforward fragrance, designed not to complicate things, suitable for everyone, citrusy, slightly sweet, and cheerful. Longevity is more than decent, lasting easily around 6 hours; it projects strongly for the first hour and a half and leaves a very pleasant trail. The lemon, neroli, and orange blossom are very noticeable, while the base features a sweet, well-crafted tonka. In its final stages, it reminds me hugely of Adolfo Dominguez’s Lima Tonka. In conclusion, it’s a simple fragrance that delivers a lot; you could call this ‘Riviera Dream’, put it in a pastel LV bottle, and sell it for $400 to Chinese and Arab buyers. I’ll use it a lot, although I think it’s for hot days; 100% recommended.

In short, it delivers a lot. If you labelled it ‘Riviera Dream’, put it in a pastel LV bottle, and sold it to Chinese and Arab markets for $400, it would sell well. I’ll use it a lot, though I think it’s best for hot days. 100% recommended.

I must confess that I’m very sceptical about the quality of perfumes from my country, but this one truly pleasantly surprised me. It has a very citrusy, pleasant opening that isn’t invasive. You can detect the fig note very subtly (which I love) and the green apple. In the heart, I sense eucalyptus (very subtle) and orange blossom, while the base has some musk and the sweetness of tonka bean. I really liked it; I think I’ll buy another bottle to keep as a backup. It’s completely worth it.

In fact, the only thing I dislike is that the Lime note can be quite potent at the start. Afterwards, the apple and fig appear rich and defined, giving way to the floral notes, which, in my opinion, are the best part of this perfume.

All Saints by Perfumería boasts a super-citrus opening thanks to the neroli, but what really stands out is the fig, which is very prominent to the point of reminding me of HC9 – Fig, also by Perfumería, though this is a lighter version, perfect for hot weather. Over time, it becomes slightly more floral and sweet without losing that fresh, luminous spark. As it dries down, the fig transforms into a more herbal note, accompanied by white flowers, a musky base, and a very subtle aquatic touch.
