  A direct synthetic blast of mandarin right to the nose, though not unpleasant. The violet lends support and depth. It reminds me of Bennetton United Dreams Black. For the usual $8 price tag, it’s excellent value.

  I own this cologne along with a Pacha, and I wear them on my clothes to relax at home in a laid-back way. They’re cheap and reliable. For the price, you can’t ask for more. I like them.

  For 134 pesos (around £7)! WOW! It outperforms several designer fragrances. Completely linear, but at that price, is it worth it? Yes, absolutely.

  If you like iris, you’ll love this. It’s a manual-level fragrance costing less than €10, so don’t expect bomb-like longevity or sillage. However, the scent is highly addictive, very similar to Zara 9.0 but with a more gourmand twist.

  Smells great, starting with mandarin before turning floral. A pity it’s so weak. Very simple but rich value for the price. Not particularly masculine. There are some interesting cheap fragrances from budget brands. If they offered more potency, they’d be competitive even at double the price. This one from Pacha Ibiza would be a good example. It fades so quickly, leaving a rich scent that lasts only minutes. It’s a bit of a gimmick but pleasant. It’s getting harder to find these days, even though it’s cheap. Good for young guys, with a youthful vibe that’s very popular.

  Picked it up for under £8 and it smells like Valentino – rich and perfect for winter. It’s linear and simple, lasting just about four hours or a little longer.
