Frankincense 01. What does it smell like? Well, frankincense. Honestly, reading the note list left me with a poker face. Out of that long list, I only smell the frankincense (above all and foremost) and something herbal, I suppose it will be the juniper. Nothing else. I don’t like it too much, to be honest. It’s not bad, but not good either. It’s a medicinal smell. But that’s the opening. This perfume has evolution, slow but it has it. After an hour or so it changes into something unexpected: a sweet, chocolatey vanilla cream, with a frankincense still present but much more masked by that cream. I definitely prefer it dry. Nevertheless, I don’t like it enough to keep it in my collection. Ciao. In summary: unisex-masculine, ultimately it’s just a frankincense and I perceive those as masculine. Quite versatile in weather; it’s a green frankincense, I think it’s suitable for warm climates. Scent: 5.5, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 7, Price: 9 (€75/100ml).

Quite versatile for the weather; being a green frankincense, I think it fits perfectly in heat. Scent: 5.5. Longevity: 8. Sillage: 7. Price: 9 (€75 for 100ml).
Another masterpiece from Swiss Arabian. In the opening, frankincense dominates for the first 20 minutes. Then you start to notice the rum and a little less of the Virginia juniper (the bergamot was imperceptible to my nose). After about 40 minutes, the heart dominated by fig begins to shine. From then on, what stands out most is the frankincense-fig combo, very attractive and mysterious at the same time. In my nose, the rum would take third place, although for many the rum overshadows the fig. The point is, it’s a high-quality fragrance with a captivating development and, apart from the opening, it’s not challenging. A wonderful olfactory experience.
I love frankincense fragrances, but here I wasn’t looking for anything dark or gothic; to my surprise, it’s soft, creamy and luminous, much more wearable. At first, I felt a pinch from the juniper and bergamot, but then it settles into a spectacular, elegant and clean fruity frankincense. Now I can’t stop sniffing it; it’s addictive. The quality of ingredients for the price is ridiculously good, and being an extrait, it lasted 8-9 hours on my skin. If I have to complain, the cap is ugly; I put a Diptyque one on it and it looks great. Apart from the aesthetics, it’s a great perfume and a wonderful alternative to the very expensive Gris Charnel Extrait.

To those who like incense fragrances, I expected something dark and gothic here, but nothing of the sort. It’s a soft, creamy, and luminous incense, making it much more bearable and versatile. At first, it seemed sharp due to the juniper-bergamota, but then it settles into a spectacular, elegant, and clean fruity incense. Now I can’t take my nose away from it; it becomes addictive. The ingredient quality for its price is laughable, and being an extract, it lasted 8-9 hours on my skin. My only gripe is the cap, which I find ugly; I’ve put a Diptyque one on it and it looks wonderful. Apart from the aesthetics, it’s a great perfume and a good alternative to the very expensive Gris Charnel Extrait.
For people with a humble nose, this is in the style of Zara’s Rich/Warm/Adictive but much more potent. The opening is rich but confuses me a bit; that fresh juniper and bergamota touch shifts to a gourmand base where the incense takes charge. The rum and mix of nuts, chocolate, and vanilla are noticeable without dominating, giving that cookie smoke touch that recalls Rich/Warm. For me, it’s a resounding yes if you find it at a reasonable price.
It’s a real stunner with an incredible frankincense and a delicious base, ideal for enjoying in autumn and winter. It has good projection and correct longevity, about 7 or 8 hours of presence. It’s elegant and captivating, a niche scent that doesn’t resemble any of my more than 100 perfumes. A great discovery.
A true perfume bomb with incredible incense and a delicious base. Ideal for enjoying beautifully in autumn and winter. Projection and longevity are very correct, lasting about 7 or 8 hours, making themselves felt. Elegant and captivating, it’s a niche scent that doesn’t resemble any of my more than 100 perfumes. A great discovery I’ve had with this fragrance.
I was caught off guard by this launch from the house. It smells masculine, with almost no trace of the feminine for me. It’s wearable anywhere except for sports. Warm or cold, it works well, though in heat, moderate a bit. The scent is like 50% of Amouage’s DNA, but more bearable and less aggressive. You can detect the incense, dark and dusty chocolate, resins, and woods well mixed. There is a green note, but it’s very tense; the rum and lime are quite noticeable, and the fruit is present though subtle. It lasts 6 or 7 hours when applied well, tending to stay on the skin. I use it casually, depending on the venue, as some ladies may love or hate it for that potent oriental touch. If you want to enter the world of pure oriental niche, it’s a good way to get familiarised without spending a fortune. Top quality and presentation; I’ll keep buying from this house. Give it a chance. SCENT: 9/10 PRESENTATION: 9/10 ORIGINALITY: 9/10 QUALITY: 9/10 PRICE: 8/10 MALE: 9.5/10 LONGEVITY: 8.5/10 FIXATION: 8/10 SILLAGE: 8.5/10 TOTAL: 9/10 Good Oriental, (Original)
Someone might have thought this smells like Amouage’s Purpose 50, but it doesn’t look anything like it. Amouage has a much stronger incense and isn’t as sweet or gourmand as this Swiss Arabian. It’s not a bad perfume, but it reminds me a lot of Scandal Le Parfum; you can detect the sandalwood, chocolate, and rum at the beginning.
It smells like several perfumes at once, but none in particular, which proves it is an original creation. It has fruity parts, incense notes, is clean, and has a sweet touch. For me, it’s a niche perfume in an affordable Arab brand bottle, although it’s not one of the cheapest on the market.
Well, time to review this scent. It combines frankincense, nuts, vanilla and amber. The opening is prominent and strong; if you overapply, you guarantee a headache. It’s deep olibanum, balsamic, warm, sweet like honey and resinous, with a touch of aromatic juniper, spiced rum and bergamot to brighten it. It lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour; it’s potent and noticeable. The heart is complex and unique: I’ve never heard fig like this; it’s mystical, fruity but not green, more like an opened fig with woody depth and sweet nutty notes, like caramelised wood. It lasts 4-6 hours with strong projection. The base evolves into something more sensual: deeper frankincense, chocolate warmth and vanilla, with a creamy touch of noble woods. The moss is imperceptible. It lasts 5-6 hours with moderate projection. It’s a complex scent; there are many nuances and chords, distinguishing them takes time and use in different climates. I admit that for Swiss Arabian, they use some of the best ingredients on the market; their oils are fascinating and in extrait presentation you’ll smell it for hours. Be careful, don’t use it on clothes as it stains due to the concentration. For me it’s unisex leaning masculine; on a woman I don’t think it would be as pleasant due to the strong scents. Occasion: preferably evening, climates under 25°C. Suitable for going out, dates, formal events and places where you want to stand out and smell sexy. Swiss Arabian demonstrates that the best brands are Arabic, like Amouage from Oman and the Arabic tradition as a reference of their culture. If I had to describe it: like in an Arab souk, there’s fruit, nuts, desserts, craftsmanship in precious woods with frankincense burning in the background. Scent: 10/10 (if you like olibanum), Price: 6.5/10, Versatility: 5.5/10, Sillage/Projection: 9/10, Longevity: 8.5/10.
Finally, after spending too much on blind buys influenced by influencers who know nothing and Arab perfumes that left me in the gutter, I’ve found a jewel that dares to look the big houses in the eye. It wasn’t easy, as I hate fig and sandalwood, but here they are so well integrated that I now adore them. It doesn’t smell like anything known, not even Purpose 50, although I understand why it’s compared due to the base. Its incense isn’t the heavy one found in Amouage, but one that envelops and unites everything. To those who can’t stand incense, like me, I say: don’t be scared; it has fruit at the start, is creamy in the middle, and sweet at the end. It’s fantastic, lasts a long time, and doesn’t bother. I would place it more towards the feminine side, contrary to what everyone says. Swiss Arabian has stopped copying and started creating things with judgement, proving that good perfumes aren’t just in expensive niche lines, but also in many drawers.
Very good. It’s a moderate frankincense, wearable all year round and doesn’t offend the Western palate; it doesn’t smell like Aladdin just out of the cave. You can tell the quality; it has sandalwood and a bit of vanilla. Here I don’t sense a clear opening, but rather the perception is pretty much the same throughout. The frankincense becomes creamy and sweet, with a subtle fruity touch, like the sweet part of an almond (or perhaps the frankincense itself). Over time, it remains pleasant. It reminds me of some of Loewe. Subtle and elegant. I wouldn’t include it as an Arabic perfume; it’s not a cheap imitation for €20. The 50ml bottle costs €50-70, which is more than a standard designer fragrance.
Very good perfume. The incense is moderate, suitable for all year round, and doesn’t offend the Western palate; nothing like Aladdin emerging from the cave. You can tell it’s quality, with sandalwood and a touch of vanilla. There is no marked opening, but rather a constant perception. The incense becomes creamy and sweet, with a small fruity note, like almond. Over time, it remains pleasant. It reminds me of some Loewe scents: subtle and elegant. I wouldn’t classify it as an Arab perfume or a cheap imitation. The 50ml bottle costs between 50 and 70€, which is more than a standard designer brand.
Well, it’s my turn with this scent. It’s a blend of incense, nuts, vanilla, and amber. The opening is potent, almost aggressive; if you overapply, you’re guaranteed a headache. Olibanum dominates: deep, balsamic, warm, honey-sweet, and resinous. Behind the incense, I detect some juniper giving it an aromatic touch, rum adding spices, and bergamot just to brighten it up. This phase lasts between 30 minutes and an hour; it’s intense and noticeable. The heart is complex and unique; I’ve never smelled a fig like this: mystical, fruity but not green, more like an open fig, with nutty sweetness and caramelised wood in the background. This lasts 4 to 6 hours with good projection. The base is where it becomes sensual: the incense gains depth and warmth alongside chocolate and vanilla, with a creamy touch of noble woods. I don’t detect moss. It lasts about 5-6 hours with moderate projection. It’s a complex scent, full of nuances that require time and use in different climates to distinguish. I admit that Swiss Arabian has some of the best ingredients on the market; their oils are fascinating and in extract format, they accompany you for hours, though be careful: do not put it on clothes as it stains due to its concentration. For me, it’s unisex leaning towards masculine; I don’t think it would be as pleasant on a woman due to the intensity. Ideally, it’s for night use in climates below 25°C. It suits parties, dates, formal events, or anywhere you want to stand out and smell sexy. Swiss Arabian demonstrates that the best brands are Arab, alongside Amouage from Oman, as their tradition is a cultural reference. If I were to describe it… it’s like being in an Arab market: fruit, nuts, desserts, precious wood crafts, and incense burning in the background. Scent: 10/10 (if you like olibanum), Price: 6.5/10, Versatility: 5.5/10, Sillage/Projection: 9/10, Longevity: 8.5/10.
