I can’t believe this perfume has no reviews. It smells absolutely delicious and follows the classic Springfield line. It’s a fougère that, given the price, is inexplicable that other perfumes cost 30 times more. You buy this and walk out perfectly scented for just £7. A brilliant purchase.

I don’t know what Springfield smells like, but it’s an insignificant, ethereal fougère based on a soft lavender line; a scent that tells me nothing, neither before nor now. An outdated proposition that neither lasts, projects nor leaves a trail. In modern slang, the reaction would be: ‘meeecccc!!!’. The bottle is also a disaster of ludicrous design, with a horrendous plastic cap that barely fits the atomiser. I totally disagree with the other review. The only good thing is the price, £4.40 on Notino (January 2022)… in the end, thrown in the bin.

Well, it’s not bad at all. The important thing is that it’s well-made. At £5-7 for 100ml, the quality is outstanding. I recommend the Intense version: same scent, but with better longevity and a more elegant dry-down. Don’t expect it to break the mould against the classics, but it is a worthy rival that often goes unnoticed. It has that depth of oakmoss and an earthy touch that sets it apart from basic barbershop fougères, without falling into the seriousness of Quorum or Paco Rabanne. Ideal if you’re looking for something classic with elegance and maturity. It deserves more attention for delivering handsomely and being so well-crafted at a ridiculous price. If you come across it by chance, give it a try even if just for occasional use. Note: if Springfield, Crossmen or Massimo Dutti sound vintage to you, this isn’t for you.
