Descripción

Le Beau Flower Edition by Jean Paul Gaultier is a fruity aromatic fragrance for men. This creation, launched in 2025, was designed by Quentin Bisch, Natalie Gracia-Cetto and Amélie Jacquin. In its opening, the composition unfolds a vibrant top note of kumquat and lemon. The heart reveals floral and herbaceous elegance thanks to violet leaf and geranium. To finish, the base offers a warm, woody and creamy trail with cashmere, tonka bean and patchouli.

11/1/25 Purchased and tested. Update: It starts with undeclared citrus notes that change the vibe. That’s why it’s called ‘flower edition’; the shift is undeniable, swapping the coconut for a fresher, floral, and aquatic accord. The bottle now features a tab for easier opening. 12/31/24: I perceive the opening as slightly aldehydic, but it doesn’t become annoying. If I had to compare it, I would fervently say that, with my inexperienced nose, it retains a certain resemblance to Bvlgari Aqva. As a general rating, for presenting something relatively new in men’s perfumery with that accord, I give it an 8/10. I would recommend it, though not for blind buys; you might expect a scent very much in the style of ‘Le Beau’, but it shares little or nothing with its ‘classic’ DNA contemporary, which is barely perceptible. To my taste, it’s suitable for daily wear.

  • A pivot in the Le Beau series. This citrus-floral scent with that sweet undertone is a delight for me. With the arrival of spring and summer heat, I look forward to enjoying it immensely. I’m waiting to see how it performs, but initially, the smell is tremendously pleasant.

  • I tried it yesterday and, honestly, I can’t quite put my finger on what it smells like. It wasn’t pleasant, striking, or long-lasting in my experience… in my opinion, an unnecessary launch.

  • It’s a clean citrus scent, and there are already thousands on the market. It offers nothing special and has nothing to do with Le Beau. Plus, it’s the most expensive of all.

  • I tested it in a store tester and, truthfully, it leaves me indifferent. It’s a good fragrance, but I don’t think it adds anything new, and I’m unsure how much it will stand out within the JPG line.

  • I bought all the Le Beau scents because I love the line and the coconut; this one, despite lacking coconut, smells very much like the EDT and Paradise. I purchased it, but I’m slowing down my collecting spree and might return it. I’ll test it with testers over the coming days, but I doubt I’ll keep it: it’s very expensive, and I want to see how the new releases perform. I’d only recommend it if you like the original and floral fragrances.

  • I thought it was a joke to say it smells identical to Bennetton’s We Are Tribe, but after trying it, it’s exactly the same. The Benetton opening is actually a copy of this; the difference is that JPG stays linear, whereas Benetton evolves into something like Invictus.

  • I understand if you buy it for the bottle and collecting, because the scent is quite meh; it lasts about 7 hours on my skin but seems quite generic.

  • Eager to try it soon. I’m glad to read they’ve removed the coconut note. That note was unbearable to me and even gave me nausea.

  • LE BEAU FLOWER EDITION is only for collectors, available for about 6 months, like Lovers last year. Estimated until summer 2025. To me, it’s a sweet citrus (kumquat and cashmere), slightly aquatic due to the violets, ideal for spring and summer daytime. I can’t find any flowers at all; the name doesn’t fit. It’s not a projection beast nor ultra-innovative, but it’s not just another one; I don’t know a similar scent. It’s linear, doesn’t change over time. It has more notes: pineapple, patchouli, tonka bean, lemon, geranium, and absinthe. Perfumers: Quentin Bisch, Natalie Gracia-Cetto, and Amélie Jacquin. It doesn’t stand out for anything, only the collector’s plus (I’ll buy it as a fan), but apart from that, you can save yourself (unless you really like it, it’s a good scent).

  • I went to try it today at Primor and liked it a lot, but it smelled familiar. When I got home and sprayed it on my blotter, my surprise was discovering that Le Beau Flower Edition smells almost identical to Emanuel Ungaro for Him, a £15 cologne. Still, it’s a pleasant, fresh, semi-sweet, and floral aroma, but I wouldn’t buy it given there are other cheap alternatives that smell so similar.

  • Elhierronomiente

Honestly, it feels like a ‘more’. I tested it at Druni, on blotter and skin, and the performance, projection, and longevity are quite poor. Typical JPG base, sweet with citrus touches but very synthetic. Fragrance at €86 for 125ml. For me, it’s not worth it at all.

  • Givenchy Gentleman 💘

Le Beau without coconut? Flower Edition is a floral citrus. I can’t find the sweetness they mention nor the coconut that seemed its hallmark; it distances itself more than anything from the Le Beau DNA. I’m not a floral person, but if you’re looking for that, it’s a great option without expecting a relation to the rest of the Le Beaux. Moderate projection, lasts 5-7 hours on skin. My rating: 5/10, the worst Le Beau. If you want fresh with coconut, Paradise Garden is better. For those wanting a floral citrus, I’d give it 7/10, clarifying that it’s not a Le Beau as we knew it.

  • I’m a huge JPG fan but I didn’t understand this launch. It smells like plastic, like a generic perfume from 2015. Obviously it’s wearable, with good longevity and projection as usual, but honestly, it’s not worth buying.

  • I don’t understand all the hate for this fragrance. I think Le Beau Le Parfum set the bar too high. It’s excellent, a fresher and more citrusy version of Le Beau EDT, the most versatile in the line. Flower Edition seems more relaxed for being outdoors. Perfect for walks, the gym, or the beach. The fixations aren’t the best and the price is somewhat elevated, but the scent and projection are fantastic. It’s a proper scent bomb. 9/10.

  • Flushedatom

It reminded me of those bubblegum figurines from my childhood. Suddenly, it gives me nausea. Very youthful, even effeminate in my opinion. I suppose some will like it; it’s a 50/50. Definitely don’t buy it blindly.

  • MarquezCastillo

It’s not for everyone. It’s totally different from the collection, featuring a feminine floral and marine touch, ideal for summer and hot nights. It lasts a long time on skin and evolves over time. It’s a limited edition like Lovers, recommended for collectors and brand fans. It strays from what one expects from a European gourmand.

  • Dantelautaro

Nefarious. It doesn’t last or project; after 40 minutes, it seems diluted in water.

  • First off, a warning: this is my raw, unfiltered opinion; tastes vary and it can smell different on skin. It’s a beast, a rare, rich, addictive, and unique scent. The longevity, sillage, and projection are brutal, surpassing everything I own. I’ve received more compliments in a short time; it’s ideal for daily wear, the office, or going out—you’ll definitely be asked about it. Girls love it (you already knew that, haha). I work in customer service and this can be smelled in the food court from over 10 metres away. The violets mixed with the kumquat citrus smell fantastic. I swear, it’s the most potent and flattering fragrance in my collection, alongside Paradise Garden. It lasts a full workday; after 8 hours I still get bursts, especially on clothes. The sillage is very heavy. Excellent launch from JPG. Scent: 10/10, Compliments: 10/10, Sillage: 10/10, Projection: 10/10. BEAST MODE. Based on my experience, but everyone is free to choose.

It’s like Le Beau but without that disgusting coconut that gives you nausea. It’s more bearable, more floral with that vanilla touch but fresh, very nice. It’s more feminine and smells good, but I wouldn’t buy it because it’s too expensive for what it offers. If it were cheaper, I’d buy it; it’s not worth the price.

  • Esteban Gomez

Reminds me of a surfer or something from the Caribbean, haha. Those floral notes are very noticeable and it has good longevity, around seven to eight hours. The projection also surprised me; upon application, it feels strong and stays there. I usually prefer dark aromas, but if it smells good, it’s worth it.

  • To me, it’s a spectacle. It smells clean of flowers like lilac or violet with a tropical touch à la Paradise Garden. It’s soft but lasts a long time, around six to eight hours, which is incredible for such a gentle scent.

  • I’ve been testing it these past few days and it performs better than Le Beau EdT. It has more projection and longevity. I wore it at 30 degrees and received many compliments. It’s fresh and not tiring. I recommend it for day-to-day wear in heat or temperate climates if you like fresh scents.

  • It’s citrus-floral and fresh, but in my opinion, it projects very little. It feels clean, simple and pleasant, but nothing more. It lacks character or anything that makes it special. Honestly, there are cheaper options that outperform this in scent and longevity. The presentation is classic for the brand, but no more. I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • I don’t know why there’s so much hate; I absolutely love it. It smells of the beach, citrus, too rich and sweet. If it’s not for everyone, it’s perfect for me.

  • I tried it at a Sears and loved it from the off. It’s floral, could be unisex, which suits me perfectly for daily wear. It lasted over eight hours and projected well, though perhaps that was luck. It’s not worth the price, nothing innovative, but if you have plenty of cash and are looking for something unusual for a man, it’s ideal.

  • Definitely, the Le Beau line has a special charm, and this is no exception. A perfume that almost falls into Second Skin. Rich, light, fresh, talcum-like, and beautiful. It has an extremely sexy dry-down that borders on the feminine. If you have issues with that, this isn’t for you. If you are confident about wearing scents that aren’t citrus and woods, you’ll find here a seductive and intimate experience that invites closeness.

  • Reminds me of Club de Nuit Milestone; they aren’t identical, but that violet note is the same. Here, it smells of pure violet.

  • Manuelduran

Too floral. I tried it in summer with moderate projection and it didn’t convince me; the scent strays from the coconut found in other versions. I tried it again in cold weather, and it doesn’t perform at its best; I consider it more suitable for daytime and mild climates. Not a blind buy.

  • GammaPerfumería

The base notes are noticeable from the start, followed by the heart and then the dry-down. The violet is present throughout the perfume’s life. It feels somewhat dry due to that violet sensation. It could remind one of the Le Beau line, but not because of the coconut or tropical notes; I couldn’t explain it. Fortunately, I didn’t buy it blind.

  • What a fantastic perfume. I got it a week ago through an exchange. I don’t know if it’s common to all JPGs, but they have an aura that feels divine or like a ‘solar sensation’—I’m not sure if it’s a specific note, but it makes me feel like a millionaire every time I wear it, just like with Scandal EDT. This is a great perfume; it lasts very well for 8-9 hours without drama on clothes. Projection is okay, but it makes up for it greatly in quality and longevity. Ideal for spring, summer, informal outings, and for me, it’s perfect for evening wear. I went to a birthday party at a bar last night and received very good comments. One of my new favourites; I recommend it.

  • StarlinCollado

To be honest, it surprised me more than expected. It feels clean and pleasant, and on my skin it smells like soft, elegant leather (I’m not sure if it’s from the flower or the accord, but it’s there). I would wear it; it’s not annoying, nor does it drive me crazy. It’s not a scent that will obsess you or generate many compliments. Rather, it’s correct, comfortable, and easy to wear. Rating: 7/10. Smells like clean floral with a soft, elegant leather base. I feel calm and comfortable. I like it, but it doesn’t excite me. I’d use it for casual wear, quiet outings, and daily life without intending to stand out.

  • I bought it on sale for $60 for 125ml; it never dropped below $120 before. It doesn’t offend anyone; it’s ‘harmless’ and accompanies you in the heat without issues. The longevity was almost 10 hours, which is noticeable. It gives me freshness, and I love the violet note. It’s not a compliment machine, but I did receive positive comments. Honestly, if it hadn’t been on sale, I wouldn’t have bought it.

  • Underrated in my opinion. Rich, pleasant aroma, and the most wearable in the line. Perhaps not as innovative, but it’s incredibly good. On my skin, it lasts a minimum of 7 hours, even longer, with a trail of nearly 2 hours. What a pity it’s a limited edition, as it’s quite good.

  • It’s plain and unremarkable; it creates no impression and doesn’t last. The worst perfume by Gaultier.

  • Wlad Molina

Green and youthful sophistication. The opening is delightful: a citrus peak with violet and geranium, a green floral with earthy nuances, almost like dried leaves. A modern, powdery accord that feels distinct from the usual JPG. While there are similarities at the start, the evolution makes all the difference. Every skin dries it differently, revealing unique facets. Reminds me of Boss Bottled Intense but with a green twist and less sweetness. The dry-down is a dry, semi-sweet woodiness that balances freshness with an elegant finish. It’s not the typical sweet JPG; it’s for smelling different, sophisticated, and less mainstream. Informal character, ideal for spring and summer, it stands out and earns compliments for its originality. It doesn’t smell like a generic summer blue; it’s a fresh alternative with personality. My rating: 9/10. Despite the criticism, it surprised and captivated me. In the end, that distinct and memorable olfactory experience matters.

  • Smells fresh and floral, though it can sometimes become sharp and irritating if you’re not into florals. It’s a decent flanker—not the worst in the line—and pairs well with a shirt in spring; you smell great for a few hours. The bottle is beautiful.
